While I see they are trying to improve some areas it appears the course is overplayed. It had not rained in several days and the greens were soggy, bumpy, slow and hairy. Very disappointed.
The. layout was nice and some very nice holes sequences. We played in 4 hours 20 minutes so not a bad pace.
This course has some really good potential with a bit of attention to detail. I look forward to another swipe at it in a month or so

The course opened up after being closed for the season. They had to open because of unusually warm weather. Course was firm and greens were slow and this was to expected. The greens hadn’t been mowed in a while but still rolled fine. Great layout and the course gets really fun from 9 on thru finish. Always enjoy the links style gem

the course was a really nice layout with a mix of challenging short holes and some that required longer irons to approach. There is a definite emphasis on accuracy. The back nine was slightly more challenging that the front and mostly because of the water hazards.
the greens seem to be in distress and I understand that the club is going to redo all of them in the next year or so which will complete this to a 5 star venue

I played as a single at 8:30 in the morning and was paired with two others. I had played the west course the day before and came back for the east course.
We played the first three holes fairly quickly as we were all decent players. (2 -8 hcp). We then ran upon several twosomes that were playing very slowly. I don't understand why clubs don't pair these folk up. We as a three some actually played through several twosomes. There was no ranger on site to encourage players to speed up their routine.
We finished our round and noticed that one of the twosomes we went through were five holes behind us. Miserable pace.
Jacaranda.... please invest in a couple guys to help this kind of scenario. Lord knows there are enough retired guys in the area that can do the work!!

The course was in very good conditions and the only reason I gave it 4 stars is the bunkers were a bit thin with very little sand. I was in only one but the guys in the group complained several times. The greens were quick and true and if you hit a putt online it rarely wavered.
Pro shop staff was nice and even discounted a hat for me which was a surprise.
We played in 4 hours 20 minutes and waited on the group in front 5 or 6 times,,,, They had open fairways ahead of them. So cant blame the course except there was no marshal on duty. all in all for spring golf was actually pretty good.
I would play again when I return to the area

The course was extremely wet and may have led to the poor conditions. The pace of play was extremely slow,,, we left after 9 holes (2:45)
