Likely not the fault of the course/staff, but the greens and tee boxes were a wreck on most holes. I’ve played a good amount of public courses and I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many pitch marks not being fixed. Tee boxes were standard for what you get on most public tracks.

Pace of play was surprisingly good. It’s a challenging course and does have a fun layout. That said, below average golfers will get eaten alive which generally kills PoP…wasn’t the case today.

All in all I like the course and find it challenging but for $100, I was expecting a much better experience.

I get that it’s a public course, but it took us 5 hrs to complete the round. On almost every hole there were two groups on the tee box. To make matters worse, when we asked for a ranger to come out, they said, “Sure” and never sent anyone. Since the course is relatively challenging, slow play is expected...just not 5 hrs slow.

Unless you are playing first thing in the morning, I would NOT recommended coming here. It’s too bad because I truly enjoy playing here but If you tee off after 12, expect a snails pace and the course staff to do nothing about it.
