Lake Worth Beach Golf Club

There didn't seem to be any coordination on the course today. There was a group of 4 walking the course, and they wouldn't even let a single player play through. The course was bottled up from the 7th hole through the turn. Then, out of nowhere, a group of kids and a parent (?) jumped in front of us on 10, and we were waiting for nearly 20 minutes to tee off. That's when we left. We didn't finish the course. Not sure what was going on, but someone should've done something. The back nine would've played at least 3 hours at that pace.

Has always been a good course to us, but the greens haven't recovered from the aeration, and they were brutal. Hopefully in a few weeks, the greens will come back to life, and I can sink some putts. Otherwise, it was a great day, and fun. We'll check it out in a few weeks.
Cypress Creek Country Club

Not sure what is happening with this course, but they seemed understaffed, and careless. We loaded our own carts, and when it was time to go out, the starter disappeared. We just decided to head out anyway. The course wasn't in terrible shape, but the greens were absolutely horrible. You couldn't hit past the hole if you tried. I've never played on slower greens, and it took all of the fun out of our day. They were simply unputtable. At the end of our round, we unloaded our carts, and left. There wasn't anyone around to wipe clubs or offload the carts. The place was a ghost town. We are done with this course.

I'm not sure what has happened to this course, but we've had more than our fair share of water in the past two months. The fairways were nothing but sand, and taking an approach shot was like hitting off of a dirt road. We moved the ball 5 yards at times just to get a lie. It wouldn't hurt to rake a bunker once in a while either. With all of the courses around the area in tremendous shape, it was a shame to play this one today. We're not coming back anytime soon. This place needs work.

Great little executive course to work on the short game. There are a few "drive-able" holes if you can keep it straight. A lot of fun and you can scoot around the course in just over 2 hours (we were a threesome). Fun!
Atlantic National Golf Club
Played On 08/19/2017Afraid of a little water?
We've played the course before...it's a really nice course. But, they made a poor decision today. The weather was a factor, as it had rained that morning, but it cleared up enough to get a round in..(at least in our opinions). There was a slight drizzle, and another cell coming from the south about 30 miles away. They decided to shut down the course for the day, and we got 1 hole in. Maybe they didn't feel like hanging around, but we packed it up, and headed over to Palm Beach National (they never close). Overall, we had a fun round at PBN, and I probably won't be heading back to Atlantic any time soon. Always frustrated when I play there.....
Thank you u832916157 for the review. We appreciate your comments. We apologize for the inconvenience of not being able to play our beautiful course. Management will deem the course unplayable as to protect from unnecessary wear during wet conditions. It sounds as though you happened to visit our facility during one of those times as the course must have been pretty saturated. Golf, being an outdoor sport is at the mercy of mother nature; which we have no control over. We look forward to having you back in the near future.
