This course is always in great shape and is a good challenge from the blues on back.

Rained like crazy yesterday so very wet. Nice layout

If there were getting ready to reseed they might have mentioned it before I paid. $90 to play hard pan and checkered greens.

I must be spoiled by the municipal courses in Eastern Washington. I played on two municipal courses in the Oakland area this week with Willow Park being one of them.
It appears that the only thing they take care of is the greens! Cart paths are a mess or missing and the fairways are really pastures! I am not saying they are challenging but I have never seen so many burned out or torn up fairways and tee boxes. Again maybe I am spoiled but that is what I found.

I have played this course often but usually from the whites. Played the blues today and ended up between clubs a lot!
Straight shots are rewarded as trees can give you lots of blocked shots.
The sand traps need some work and the tee boxes when played late in the week look worn as they are only changed once per week. (or so I am told)
This is a great value and for me, a 11, a good challenge. I would recommend this course.
