Booking noted this is the first day Ibis Landing was open for play. This was the old Copperhead CC course that was run down and sold. The new owners have done a remarkable effort if the course was as bad as I had heard from others. The greens ran about 10 and for the most part were consistent. The overall condition of tees, fairways and greens are good to very good. The rough in many areas is REAL - like a course should be. Every person working that I met was very friendly and genuinely wanted us to have a great day. I will be back to play again now that I know the course somewhat. The GPS system is good. The only negative was the beverage cart did not sell beer. I assume they don't have the license to do that yet. It will be interesting to see what the course ratings are so one can really evaluate the course compared to others. OVERALL B+ to A-

Fairways in definitely poor condition - only 2 had been mowed for a Saturday. Greens still need work, about the same as last time here. Hardly anyone on the course. Personnel in golf shop vocally complaining about using Golf Now system, even said they did not honor tee times people had made that was a mix up and told them they could not play and to contact Golf Now. WOW - a good business would try to work something out for the people who did not cause the problem business has with Golf Now if they wanted the people to come back. If you don't like the system you have contracted with, then don't use it!!!

For the price this course needs a lot of work! Tees, fairways and greens make this Dye course almost an embarrassment.

Course was in average condition - not as good as when played in October. Greens were not as fast as they should be. Layout is nice without houses lining the holes. Cart bridges need some planks repaired before someone gets hurt. Staff was friendly but not overly inviting. Not a special experience. Would not pay more than a GolfNow Hot Deal rate.

The course layout is average but there are some interesting approaches to greens, the fairways are in decent shape, the tee boxes in a hit or miss condition, the bunkers in poor shape and the greens very little grass on 1/3 of them. The pro shop and starter personnel were courteous but attitude was basically "matter of fact" - no one said thanks for playing. No ranger on the course. One foursome very friendly and courteous called to me to play through as nobody in front of them. The second foursome I caught up to on the 4th hole of the front nine kept looking back but never offered for me to play through even though the least time they took on any hole was 17 minutes on a par 3. Thankfully, they quit after nine! The group I came upon on the 12th hole was just as rude. I waited on every tee and in every fairway. Nobody was in front of them for at least two holes yet no offer from them. This threesome would actually all stand by each person while they hit and then would go to the next person's ball even though they were in two carts. This experience reminds me of some of the private courses I have played where the members did not want anyone else on their course. If this course had been busy I would not have expected an offer to play through, however there were only 8 cars in the parking lot and I only saw 5 groups total on the course.

The staff told me the course was in good shape. Most tee boxes need work for weeds, most fairways have weeds and the greens were extremely slow. Twosome in front of me would not allow me to play through even thought nobody was within 3 holes of them. The staff told me that the rule there is that the group ahead has to approve if anyone can play through them. Unless you live at the course it is not worth the money for gas to get there! Had to play a tournament there the next day. They did not even have our times on the starter sheet and when we did get through our food orders even were messed up. STAY AWAY AT ANY PRICE!

This layout has some interesting holes. The course was averagely maintained at best - nothing was special about any hole. Greens were not what I call great compared to other courses I have played recently. Played with a friend on 7/19 and then played a tournament the next day. Staff was cordial 1st day. 2nd day 3 of 4 staff encountered were curt and the ranger was outright rude - he came from behind us and accused us of holding up everyone, even though we were waiting on every shot for the group in front of us. Other groups told us he did the same to them - clearly not trained properly by staff or just a jerk. Will not go back to this place.

Very interesting hilly layout that has some challenging holes but reward good shots. Had to use almost every club in the bag. The staff was friendly but offered no information not asked for. Other golfers encountered on the course were very friendly. This is worth the extra drive if you are in the RDU area.

This layout has more "blind" shots than any course I have ever played. Some of the shots do not make any sense, except that the hole was manufactured so the player has no idea where to hit the shot to unless the course is played often. The course condition was maintained well, but would not make the 1 1/2 hour drive to play again. It did not live up to the write-up on the course website.

Have played this course several times. This is a nice layout with good mixture of hard, medium and easy holes. The course has some areas that are being worked on, but overall it has been in good condition each time I have played it. The staff has always been super friendly and the other patrons are courteous. If you want a good experience that requires different shots this is a place to visit.

Challenging layout with great diversity of holes. You will need all your clubs and will have some testing shots. Good risk / reward options on most holes. Staff in pro shop and club house is very friendly and understand customer service. If anywhere near the area this is a must play.

This course has a good variety of holes, the greens and tee boxes were in good condition. The two most impressive things to me were the condition of the course in very wet weather and the courtesy of other golfers on the course. Even in rain the greens and fairways did not accumulate water.

Rain was on and off all day but the course held up very well. The fairways and greens were in good condition and the variety of holes offers a fair challenge. The snack bar staff was very slow, discourteous and snobbish. Either the manager is not doing the job of training staff or the attitude comes from the top. This is the same basic evaluation I would have given 2 years ago.

Great course that is in perfect condition, fast greens, well kept fairways, tees and traps. Very challenging course that has wonderful views. Very friendly staff that is accomodating.

Great conditions - very fast greens - touch challenge but rewarding of good shots.

The staff and patrons were the highlight - very, very friendly! The course is a nice layout that requires various shots - greens were slow, but played mid-week so they were not cut - some tees need attention but overall this is a fun course and facility.
