The course is one of the prettiest in area, trees, water, wild life...and water skiers!
The cost was lowish...compared to others in area. The course has massive potential but needs work. The tees were ok. Fairways very mixed, some grass and some in decent condition and some in poor condition (mainly weeds). Same goes for the greens...very mixed. The bunkers were in very poor condition...and lots of them!.
Bunkers are costly to maintain...so lose some...grass them over. Also no rakes provided.

I really like this course, not too long, lovely views off it and some great holes.
Very quiet, only 2 other people on course!! So why not make it cheaper?
Greens good in the main, tees okay, fairways okay except around greens where they could be better.
Will definitely play it again as long as price is kept down.

I have played this course a few times now and enjoy it. Tees and fairways in decent condition...greens look as though they are being treated as they do lack grass in areas.
It was mid-late morning on a lovely sunny day but there was very very few people on the course.
Lower the price and I'm sure more will play this lovely little course. We actually saw more green staff on the course than other players!!
Why no sand rakes by bunkers or with cart??

I like this course....it is on different levels and has nice views from it. In pretty good condition. Most tees good, the odd one or two need attention. Greens slow but mainly in good condition. Some have more weeds than others.
Fairways and bunkers good. Cart path has a few bumpy areas!
For the players that don't hit long any more it's a fun course.

Great short course, made up of 15 par 3s and 3 par 4s. Greens in excellent condition. Tees okay. Fairways could do with a little work. Par 3s as long or short as you want them with 4 tee choices. Undulating course with good views and lots of sand (but little water) made the course fun. Great for those that are not big hitters.

First time on course. Course has some very interesting holes, so not just a driver and pitch course. Greens okay, in decent condition. Down sides - the wet areas beside many greens was odd...also the first cut just off the fairways was the springy type grass and it had been cut a perfect height to completely hide your ball...annoying as it meant time wasted looking for a ball just off fairway.
Some tees and the cart paths need attention. BUT if you get a Hot deal like I did then well worth it.

I've played Ridgewood Lakes a few times and enjoy the course even though I end up losing balls. Lots of bunkers (many could be in better condition), quite a bit of water. Tees being reseeded, fairways in good condition and most greens in decent condition. Temp green at hole 15 a joke as you were basically putting in the rough as the temp green had not been cut at all.
However good price and attractive course with all the water, trees and wild life.
Definitely worth playing at the right price.

First time on this course. Liked the ups and downs and dog leg holes. Also a number of interesting holes making good use of the slopes. A little difficult first time playing as the cards nor the Tee markers gave much info on the hole...many being blind from the tees. Course conditions could be improved. Areas of fairway poor. Some tees & bunkers poor but most of the greens in good order. Carts are diesel and smelt a bit. Limited distance markers.
However for cost still enjoyable.

The course has good layout and a mix of interesting holes. Also very peaceful as 15 of the holes are well away from any roads or buildings. fairways and bunkers generally in good condition.
However 2 minor issues on the day we went. Firstly there was a major event going on and there was no starter. Which meant nobody knew what was happening and if it was okay to start etc. Luckily I'd played the course before so we just went to the 1st and played. Secondly the greens had just been drilled and sanded. No issue with this except this was not mentioned the day before when I booked the round. We were given discount but as we were already there we didn't really have the opportunity to pick a different course. Both should have been mentioned on Golf Now before booking.

First time on the National at Champions Gate...or is it the Omni? Once we got there and found the parking lot, signed in and got our buggy all was good. There was no one at entrance so we didn't use 'bag drop' which caused a minor issue...but nothing serious.
A little slow to start as behind 3 ball and mixed pair...but still managed the round in under 4 hrs.
Course in lovely condition, especially the greens. Not the most picturesque course but well hidden in the trees. Do not consider playing without cart.

Course in reasonable condition...some small bridges damaged so you had to find new ways to some tees. Greens had been reseeded but still ran well.
Interesting having the airfield next door....got a bit noisy at times.
I like this course as it is not a 'hit driver off every par 4 and 5' like many US courses....on a number of par 4's you had to lay up and manage the hole.

If you just want a quick game with lots of par 3's and pay $15 or less then this is the course for you. We were only 2 on course. Tree lined course is decent condition...some of the greens need a bit of work. But fairways good and tees okay.

The course is clearly in need of love and attention. A lot of damage on a number of greens and areas of fairways & tees in need of attention. Bunkers looked to be well maintained...which was a little odd! Course state partly down to lack of rain I'm sure.
Nice lay-out but very American....driver off every par 4 for instance.
Worth playing but not for more than I paid($26 total).

Nice course, different layout to many with some par 4 dog-legs so you have to think about what club to use off tee.
I'm sure I'll score better now I know the course a bit! Greens in good condition but slow. Fairways well grassed.
Some water and tree lined. If you don't mind the odd plane taking off on runway next door or the occasional train going by then I highly recommend this course.

Nice course, very picturesque. Tee condition ok, fairways good, greens good with some bad areas, bunkers could be better.
Got hot deal so good value for money. Shape of course makes you think about your shot. Recommended.

The fairways, greens and tees all in very good condition as you would expect for a new course. Sand very deep and new in bunkers making them to difficult for me! DO NOT think about walking as long way from many greens to next tee. Not a very picturesque course with buildings sites all around. I paid $36 which was just about okay...would never pay any more. No course planner on card or in cart provided. Distance makers poor.

I only played Highlands as the cost was low ($25 each) as the greens had been treated. I was surprised as to why the course is normally so much more expensive. The course is okay but not very exciting (used driver off all holes except par 3's). No water, all holes pretty straight and very forgiving. Easy beginners course. It is worth playing but not paying more than I did.

This was a very interesting course with some great holes over water etc. Lots of sand and a nice layout.
However the course is in desperate need of some money to improve fairways as there was a lot of bare earth and weeds. The bunkers (of which there were many) were in a poor condition. The sand was compacted and they were full of weeds.
Greens were okay. A course with a lot of potential.

Lovely course, we got excellent value for money. Only minor complaint was the slow play, players in front didn't seem to have basic knowledge of course etiquette.

Nice course, not a lot of water but still some really good holes.
Course in good condition, Tees could have done with mowing but now I'm being picky.
