Great course. Facilities are good and has everything you need but not fancy like the Pete Dye resort course.
Pace of play was Perfect. We didn’t wait on one Tee box and had no one waiting or hitting into us. And it was busy but the tee times are spaced perfectly on this course.
I’ve heard it is being auctioned off soon. Hope things don’t change too much. Great staff, great golf venue. course was in good shape too.

Wanted to play this course for a while so we paid the higher green fees. Not a bad course and we got lucky as this area can be windy. Moderate pace for the desert. I think with the competitive pricing for golfing in the desert this course might want to consider offering some better deals.
Also without asking us the pro shop bumped our tee time back 2 slots to set us off with another couple.
Guys, just because I wear a skirt doesn’t mean I can’t keep pace or feel uncomfortable golfing alongside men.
Please ask next time before you change my time

Good course, very fair, good greens, great range and practice greens.
Good value for price through golf now. Off in just over 4 hours in peak season.

We actually couldn’t play the course this day as it was the day following huge rainfall which caused flooding throughout the desert area. Tahquitz was unfortunately one of many courses affected.

If you are looking for pretty and a lot of facilities, head to the Pete Dye course and full Westin facilities. If you want a good round that is both challenging and fair then head to the Gary Player course. Good golf value without all the frills. Well maintained, with a friendly staff and a fairly challenging course for most levels of play. One of my desert favorites.
