Lake Worth Beach Golf Club

Every single hole had standing casual water on the fairway and rough! It was cart path only and one of the workers there told us that it's that way most of the time. This was my first and only time playing here. It's not worth me ruining shoes and socks along with getting my clothes filthy from just taking a divot. It's a pretty course down by the intracoastal but that doesn't outweigh the downside.

I played this course because of reviews. One said "hidden gem" only if you count fossilized feces as a gem! If they allowed pictures in this review I would post them. The tee boxes were mowed weeds, fairways weren't any better and they had tons of bare spots. Almost every green had some kind of damage that I thought might be a fungus. I thought for the price and from the reviews that I would have a nice day. How wrong I was. I didn't shoot bad, even birdied the par 5 18th. But the conditions made the day a struggle. If you decide to risk playing here, expect a very tight course and bring lots of balls.
