Too bad this track is not being taken care of. Great layout with challenging, interesting and eye pleasing holes. Best layout we have played in the New Port Richey/Brooksville area. BUT course is in not good condition. No grass on fairways, no grass on approach. weeds, most tee blocks just dirt. Greens were smooth , interesting and good variety of large and small. However, the actual holes looked like an animal had chewed the edges, and one hole was placed in the middle of a bad patch on the green and had long dead grass all around it. Pace of play was 4 1/2 hours. With some TLC, this could be such a better course. A chuckle on the 17th about 15 yards in front of the green there was a Ground Under Repair sign, was the best grass we saw all day! Unfortunately will not be back due to the condition.

We played this course because it was close to us. First time it was a 5 hour round. Course was borderline decent and got a good deal on Golf Now. Because of location thought we would give it another chance. Nope, another 5 hour round, Tee off was 12:40, didn’t get off until after 1:00, finished last hole as it was getting dark. Way overpriced for the condition. I understand winter golf, but ... that is not the problem, needs some grass. Will not go back even for $20.

Enjoyed the varied holes, perfect for all levels of players. My husband (8) loved the driving holes. The greens were in excellent condition, however the fairways and tee boxes were very wet in spots.

There was a 3some of non-golfers in front of us and it was wide open in front of them and it was backing up behind us. Why have a Marshall who did nothing about this group! It was extremely slow on the front 9, waiting for the group to take their 8 shots and not rushing or playing ready golf at all. They slowly walked off each green and were playing the blues. No offense to the golfers, whoever the Marshall should have followed them for a few holes to speed them up. The Marshall never said a word to us about the group. Finally on the 10th hole WE ASKED to play through and they gladly let us through. Again I say why have a Marshall.

Otherwise thoroughly enjoyed, would recommend, and would play again for sure.

Excellent value for a hot deal. We played early morning and when arrived our clubs were promptly taken from our car and starter said there were a couple of foursomes coming, and sent us out early. Great staff everywhere. When we arrived we were a little nervous by the “clubhouse”, but turns out all was great. We played in 3 hours!

The course is shorter than some, just move back a tee block you usually play. A visitor to Myrtle and have played a few different courses, the greens were excellent roll, maybe not undulating too much, but a perfect true roll and speed. We found the fairways in great condition as well. Bunkers could use some sand, but early in season, and not very many of them. Strategically placed water made the course interesting.

A very pleasant surprise, not perfectly manicured, but perfectly fair course for my husband (handicap 8) and myself (16).

Before the rain the pace was very slow, Marshall was around, but nothing was said. On the 8th it started raining, and everyone left, so the pace as expected was excellent.

Still early in the year so the greens were still coming in, the fairways were in fairly good shape. This course did not tolerate the rain well. The course has a great layout, with interesting holes. The greens had “make you think” putts with lots of undulation, we liked them, certainly not flat. The cart paths and areas off course we’re NOT in good shape, as well as some big bare spots on edges of fairway.

There is no restaurant, just a snack bar.

We paid $25 which was a fair price for the condition. For this price we would return.

My husband (8) handicap and myself (16), found the course very fair.

Course is in great shape, very challenging. Long course for all. Have to be accurate. Lightning fast greens, which they they are known for. Tons of nesting Japanese beetles on the fairways, hope they keep under control.

Gem in the middle of the city. The course is on the shorter side, however, just play one tee block back. Loved the superb fast undulating greens, pristine fairways, interesting holes. I think one of most best kept courses I have played in the GTA. Have played many courses in the Durham area, and nothing compares to this for price and quality. The setting and clubhouse were lovely, and the breakfast great. Staff was exceptional. I would go back tomorrow (if I didn’t live so far away). Keep it straight or even fairly straight and houses lining the fairway are not an issue at all. Reminded me of resort course in Vegas or Florida.

Played 20 different courses in Vegas the last 4 years, and have never encountered a course in such outstanding shape. The fairways, tee boxes, and and anything that should be, was lush. Looked like trimmed with scissors, so well manicured. Greens were just a little slow, but suspect the rain had prevented them cutting that morning. Variries of shots required, extremely forgiving and fair corse for any level. From arrival to putting clubs in car, the staff was fabulous. We played at 11:30, two of us and played in 3 hours 45 minutes. Did not see a Marshall but one was not needed. Hard at times to concentrate on golf with such beautiful surroundings! We were 2 women, forward tees were just perfect. We would come back next year and consider playing this course multiple times, would definitely be back.

I have been coming to Vegas to play over 20 different courses over the past 4 years, always in March. This is the most UNINTERESTING, BORING course I have played anywhere! Every hole is the same, hit it down the left where there is a bunker or you roll into the garbage filled aqueduct. Not a dogleg, no water to shoot over, you might as well throw your ball straight to see how far it rolls. The grass on the fairways was NON EXISTENT. The one star I gave the course was only because the greens had grass on them, quite undulating and interesting and in good shape. I would like to hope the bad conditions were due to weather, but the other courses we played this year had GRASS. Not to mention driving by trailer parks of garbage, and the smell of garbage from a dump on some holes overwhelming. We got a deal on Golf Now, but would not play this course again, even if free. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. It should be closed until they can call it a golf course. Oh yeah, the cart paths were nice if that is what you were looking for.

Exactly as expected. Nice layout and city has made the most of the land. Dry conditions with little grass on fairways in March. Get a good deal on golf now and pricing is appropriate. Good for forward lady tees and wide open course. Just try and tee it up on some grass on fairway.

Had not played since last fall, so course was a great starting course for Vegas visit. Definately an executive course, lovely setting, just a few bare spots on fairways, and greens were in good shape, with good undulations to test your green reading. Fabulous breakfast and very friendly staff.

Bigger than executive, but very well kept short track. Fairways were lacking grass in spots, but understand they have had a harsh march. Greens were very good with fast undulations. We enjoyed the mointain views , great track for newer golfers and great tees for ladies. Fabulous food in clubhouse.

Played in February so expectations were not too high, but for the price it was a good course. Very fair for the ladies tees and my husband a 4 handicap also enjoyed the layout and the length. Some greens were fast and in good shape, but others were patches and in horrible shape, not sure how they will be fixed. Hopefully this improves with weather. The fairways were greening up nicely, and you could see there was a lot of maintenance activities to make improvements.

The course was fairly empty, but there were still very friendly marshalls around, hope they around when the course gets busier. Cart guys, starter were great with information. Putting green and driving range are available.

Only complaint we had, the guy in the clubhouse needs to learn how to smile, efficient yes, but Hello and a smile go a long way to make one feel welcome.

From the starter to the guys at the end, we felt welcome and informed about the course. Said this course was under new management and they were gradually getting it back into shape. We thought it was in excellent shape, fast greens, and except for the first hole, a fabulous layout. It was fair for golfers of all levels, husband is a scratch and ladies tees were just right. No suggestions for improvement, was pleasantly surprised at the condition.

Loved this course in great shape. Fast, true greens, green fairways. Especially thought the new red Course was excellent. Problem we encountered is we arrived an hour early, driving range, putting green, and no one (I approached the starter twice) and he just nodded, but did not tell us what course we were playing. Finally went up to another person in a cart and he told us we had 2 minutes to our tee time on the red course which was the farthest away. Either the pro shop or the starter should let you know what you are playing. We made it, but we’re very rushed. COMMUNICATION is the only thing lacking on this spectacular course.

Hubbie and I played and it was above our expectSations, especially for the price. Not exceptionally long, but as seniors it was perfect. Easy to walk, greens not like lightning, but fair, once you get the speed. Fairways for time of year were starting to fill in, and I imagine soon will be great. Basic course but above average for the price. The staff were excellent, the lady in the clubhouse who is the pro shop and restaurant all in one, was so friendly, efficient, made you feel so welcome. Was early for time so had a breakfast sandwich, excellent, went to starter and there was room so got off early. Nothing at all to complain about. Washrooms and water on the course. They need a decent driving range, and until they do should not charge for balls, but noticed they were putting in a putting practice green. Good job all.

Staff in clubhouse and out very welcoming. Had a 12:00 tee time and was wide open when we arrived at 11:15. Fnally outright asked the starter if we could go, and seemed reluctant, but did eventually. Fairway no grass in some areas, and greens were slow and long in a lot of places. Tees for ladies were pretty well non existent, mostly even with the whites. Not good value for the Monet at all, lots of courses around in much better shape for February. Too bad as interesting with lots of trees in play, something other courses don’t have. Needs some TLC FOR SURE.

They are trying but the conditions were pretty bad in places, I know it is winter in Florida, but... traps were in horrible shape, mostly muddy sand. Fairways had some grass on them, the greens were pretty good. If you are not looking for championship golf, this has a nice layout, (a few wonky holes). Looks like they are trying, building a new clubhouse (pre fab structure), but didn’t see anyone trying to fix the course. Good value for the money and friendly staff. Not fancy, just a good track to go around a course and hit balls. Probably would not golf again.

Shorter par 68, but some fun holes. Played on Monday of a long weekend in 21/2 hours. Fair course for every level of golfer.

We were 2 ladies in Vegas to golf. Spectacular elevation ahd holes, tons of bunnies and scenery. Easy to get to. HOWEVER, most unfriendly pro shop I have ever been to. Borderline rude, no insrructions on where to go. We got to the starter down the hill, named Jim, and we asked about the range. Exact words, Did you get balls at the clubhouse? Were we asked at the club house , no. Quote "WELL IF YOU DIDNT ASK FOR THEM, YOU WILL BE LUCKY IF THERE ARE SOME THERE AND YOU SHOULD HAVE ASKED". A twosome of guys drove up, he immediately turned to them, just left us, in he middle of telling us where the range was". We hit some balls and we wer off. One gorgeous challenging holeafter another on one course, very ordinary course on the other. We played 4 timed in 5 days on other courses. Not a pleasant experience, so were dissappointed. Club house run down, no at all what was expected, needs a huge makeover. Had a great breakfast though and the waitress was super. Would not go back to the MENS club. Too bad, womens money is just as good as mens.
