Big golf complex - two full 18-hole courses (1 course was under construction), one 9-hole course, driving range, practice greens.

Pace of play for a Sunday morning is decent/average; just don't expect to have a 3-hour round on a Sunday morning. Got paired up with a 2-some and single player; all four of us never having played the course before. Overall good enough conditions to play in, with 1 or 2 holes playing "cart path only". Greens were in great condition! no surprise bumps or rolls. "Lakes" however looked terrible; murky murky water.

Challenging course if you don't have good consistent distance control in the short-mid irons. Tough attack angles to the greens from 170 yards and out. Most holes are safer to land short than misses long/right/left. Most of the bunkers were firm and not hard packed.

Fun course if you're consistent with the long game. Holes can play long from the tips. Pretty straight forward, slight dog legs right and left here and there. Most fairways are pretty wide, but lined with nice tall trees. Misses left and right can be somewhat forgiving, granted you don't mind hitting from another fairway. Greens at the time were a bit bumpy from aeration, but should be good by now (grown, but not quite rolled). Certain tee boxes felt soft underneath, but expected from all the rain from January-March this year. Pace was a bit slow for a solo, but can't complain too much playing twilight hours and rates.

Course is nearby the Hayward Executive Airport, so occasional planes taking off and landing. Nice hanger bays with a few WW2 fighter planes. Friendly staff at the pro shop and bar.
