Great Eagle Golf Club
Played On 11/13/2017Jekyll&Hyde
Great Eagle was 2 different courses. Front 9 was scruffy and a little worn, although greens were okay. Back 9 was more plush, better layout. Tee boxes average, fairways okay. Cart paths were weird . Greens were in good shape, ran true. I am an 11 handicap and found it passable. Discerning golfers should stay away. Price was very good.
Palmbrook Golf Club
Played On 09/22/2017Easy To Navigate
Course is very straight away with a couple doglegs. Easy To follow course, locate pins. No water on front nine but a large pond with a stream that follows all holes on back 9 that creates a fair challenge. Greens medium speed, good shape, rolled true. Tees a little sparse. Only complaint was many fairways were very worn, lean. Hard to hit fairway wood or gone down and attack irons with divot.

For the blazing summer heat, fairways were quite green although hard. Greens were hard to hold. Quickly figured our play short to gold. Greens were recently aerated but ran true. Threesome did 18 in 3:50. No beverage cart, but ample water on course. Pro shop stafg very amiable.
Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia
Played On 11/25/2014This course has some well designed holes/picturesque
The course was in good shape. The greens were well manicured but the golfers before us were not fixing their ball marks - our group was fixing multiple ball divots on each green. The tees were a bit beat up, which was a surprise. They could also use more than one rest stop area per nine. On the day we played the greenskeeper must have had a bad day before since there were 6-7 holes paced way back on the good-sized greens only 3-4 paces from the edge on crowns or plateaus. Quite a putting challenge.
Glendale Lakes Golf Club
Played On 05/24/2014The course was quite beat up.
The tees were good. The fairways were very well worn, assuming a combo of the rough winter and early play with cards. Greens must have been recently aerated, but no one told us.
Blackhawk Trace Golf Club at Indian Lakes Resort - Woodland Course
Played On 05/07/2014This course had very good tees, fairways.
Played Highland/Woodland combo on May 7. Pace was just under 4 hours as a twosome behind a threesome. Greens were hard, but clean. Fairways and tees were in very good shape. Must play short, though, since everything scoots to the back of the green.
Coyote Lakes Golf Club
Played On 02/14/2014Slow and poor time management
We teed off about 15 minutes late because they allowed a twosome to sneak out between two foursomes, We waited on every tee and when we got to the first par three there were FOUR groups waiting on the tee.
Pueblo El Mirage Golf Club
Played On 01/24/2014Slow, slow, slow
People do not know how to play golf at a good, steady pace. we waited on every tee, starting at no. 2 hole! People who hit their drives 15o yards are waiting from 250 yards while people are putting. A ranger would have been a good idea.
Coldwater Golf Club
Played On 11/13/2013OK course but sprinklers were a problem.
Teed off @ 9:30. Knew it was cart path only, but parked on cart path by greens as required and they fired up the sprinklers and soaked cart, seats, clubs with reclaimed water twice! Should not run sprinklers near cart paths when players present - wait til dusk! Greens were hard, but well manicured.
Sundance Golf Club
Played On 10/31/2013The course provides a fair challenge to all levels.
The combo tees play at 6111 yards, which is perfect for an over-60 senior who is lucky to drive 200 yards. Could use more sprinkler heads with yardage markers in the fairways but overall a good track with good challenges.
Brae Loch Golf Course
Played On 9/17/2013Tight little course, good for people who are not long hitters.
The fairways were a bit run down on a few holes, but there was grass on all of them. The greens were in great shape, but they are not big so be ready to "throw darts". Only about 5900 yards from the tips, par 70. It is a very good value and the pace was okay.
