Best feature of this course is your playing on grass not hard pan or gravel. Greens roll good but hard and don’t hold. Recommend though for the money. Friendly staff!

Nice layout. Driving range still sans grass but now charge to hit off near dirt. Course seems to be getting a bit better than previous years. Pretty views!

Staff very friendly. Course fairway grass greatly improved in last couple of years. Good value!

This is my third year of playing the Links. I think it has improved a lot this year. Nice turf, nice greens. Some rear tees I think were a afterthought probably in recent years to make course longer for the modern game. Thusly some tees in goofy places. One par 3 especially has a palm tree right in your sight line 75 yards in front of you. That being said I would recommend.

Course is pretty and has great potential. Suspect lack of funding and heavy traffic. A person mentally gets off to a rough start with attitude about the course with the worst range I’ve seen in 50 years of golfing. Your literally hitting off of nothing but dirt. Have played here for 3 years and declining each year it seems. Would suggest closing range for a month and growing some grass. Talked to staff members and they all agree.
Ocotillo Golf Club - White/Gold
Played On 02/23/2018Bad shape
For nearly a hundred dollars to play I would say there are a lot of other options. Range had no grass on it, fairways pretty much the same with the addition of plenty of goose droppings. Played here the first time two years ago. Seems to be on the decline. Pace of play very slow. Basically just over used and beat up. Has great potential though as as a great layout and scenery. Sorry, hate to bea downer, just the truth.
