Disappointed Again

I have always liked this course. Last year I tried it again and found it seemed to be going downhill. I tried it again and now I won’t return. The course is very dry no grass chipping almost impossible or very difficult. Our cart was filthy even above our heads. The window was broken and taped in 2 areas we even ran out of battery power and had to have another cart brought out. The bathroom was also dirty I was told by an employee a new management my be in the future. Such a nice track what a shame to let it all go downhill.

Disappointed and SLOW

This is one of my favorite courses to play but today was a golf nightmare. We were sent to the tee as a twosome. Then on hole 2 a man joined us he was sent out by the pro shop to start on 2. He wasn’t a friendly guy! The course was in poor shape I’ve never seen it like this and we’ve had great weather! The greens were full of ball marks we fixed many! The tees were terrible fairways poor shape. On top of that it was very overbooked and slow 4 groups ended up on 18 tee waited all day we left! Won’t be back maybe next year!

To bad a twosome held up the course!

Nice course fun to play this time the greens were smooth but slow. Had the twosome let us through it would have been a nice day. Giving his lady lessons on the course made for everyone behind to wait! No Marshall!

To many singles and twosomes

First off the course is nice and fun. But when the starters just let people Tee off without joining them the 9 holes become a nightmare! We had a foursome, threesome, and 2 twosomes all on the same holes! The twosome I’m front of us didn’t invite us and we are good golfers the single behind us said he wanted to play alone. Needless to say we skipped two holes to get in front of the congestion. We couldn’t finish the other holes because the course was still packed on every hole! Won’t play here for a long time!

Wish We Were Told

First of all we traveled 2 1/2 hours to play. We reserved a room in Reno for 2 nights and we're excited about the trip and golf. When we arrived the staff took our bags placed them on our cart. We checked in and was sent to the starter. We putted on the putting green for a bit it was awesome! I told my husband the greens are fast really nice. We tee'd off on 1 on the Hills Course got to the green and it was freshly plugged! GolfNow was not made aware I phoned they always post aerated greens. We would have never played had we known. I made GolfNow aware so our fellow golfers have a choice!

Too Bad The Bunkers Need A Lot Of Work & Hole #14 Is Closed

This is my 3rd time playing Sunridge I'm from California. The first time I didn't like the course much, the second time I really enjoyed the course although with #14 closed the most interesting hole on the course it was a long cart ride to #15 tee box. Don't think you'll ever walk here no way unless your a mountain goat! This time when I played the bunkers were unplayable full of water in many and no sand just a light spread of pebbles. It's too bad this is a really nice layout and a challenging course to play with a lot of water. It could be a best of the best for the area I think with a little more care for the course and greens. By the way they do have a #19 hole to play because of #14 being closed.

Great Course

Beautiful setting challenging holes and bunkers placed so you have to think about your tee shots. Being a woman I wished they had a combo tee box between the Jade (front tee just under 5000) & the White ( at 5871). I played the Whites and had a great time everyone needs to play this course you won't be disappointed!

Thank you for the awesome review! We are glad that you had a great time at our course. We will be in discussion about a tee box between our Jade & White. We hope to see you back soon!

Blind Shots!

My husband and I played this course using 2 different tee boxes, from the back tees he had a lot of blind shots. We had to drive forward several times so we knew where to hit the ball from the tee and in the fairways. It was very windy I'm not sure if that is the normal in that area. The course was in very good condition, the greens where nice a bit slow though from what we like and are used to. Interesting Hole 1 there are 2 big oak trees in the middle of the fairway, you challenge the first one then you have to challenge the second one! Walking....if you are a "Billy Goat" you will do fine, a lot of distances between tee boxes also. The ride up to the 16th Tee Box is pretty cool if your a walker! My answer for not recommending the course to a friend is because we probably won't return....we like to see where to hit the ball......also you have a lot of side hill lies even in the fairways they slope extremely sideways.

You will never be disappointed!

Great golf course always a challenge and fun to play with beautiful holes. A lot of sand traps deep ones bring your sand game the greens were in excellent condition. The greens have bowls and you can hit above the hole and it rolls back down to the hole so much fun! We love this course but be ready to play in 4 1/2 to 5 hours most the time as many golfers go looking for their golf ball. The staff is always friendly and helpful love this course!

Rained the night before flooded the front nine closed 2 bridges.

Under normal conditions the course is fun to play it has drainage problems they had pumps on the course to put the water into the ponds from the fairways. We could only play a few holes on the front nine due to 2 bridges that were flooded and you couldn't cross. All in all it's a good course and long from the tips, four sets of tee boxes. Trees line the fairways but plenty of room to stay in the fairway, ponds along the way and the greens are guarded by big bunkers. The course is flat and easy to walk, the greens have breaks which makes them a little challenging and fun, we will play it again!
