The course just is not maintained well. Seems like they are trying to extract as much money out of the property as they can and put VERY little back into the course.
There are 3 holes (15,16,17) nicely taken care of, but unfortunately all the other holes are poor (at best).
I would not recommend this course and have no plans to ever stop at this course again unless my car breaks down in front of the property entrance!

Staff was unfriendly when calling into the pro shop as well as while paying for the round. They just could seem to figure out how to use a pre-purchased gift card.
Greens were not in good shape at all.
No place to warm up before starting the round.
The restaurant was closed when we finished our round.

Clubhouse smelled like smoke! Pace of play was good....

Great value for the money. The best of the Champions gate area courses! All Champions Gate courses are nice, but this is the best!

This course is certainly great to play in the fall. We caught a great fall day. There are many trees on the course and I am sure it is very scenic with the fall leafs. I think we missed it by a week though.
The course was in great shape for this time of year!
The fall rates were very fair. Pace of play was very good considering the number of people out on a nice fall afternoon.
If there was any concern, it was the snack shop at the turn between 9 and 10. The person running the snack shop paid very little attention to our group. She was much more interested in the conversation she was having with another employee visitor in the back of the snack shop. I would plan to skip on the snack shop on your visit.

This is a very nice course. The conditions are great and this is worth the time to play. The sand traps here are perticularly well maintained. The sand is good quality. When playing the course it was cart path only which was a bit of a surprise because most other courses in the area had no cart path restrictions.

This course plays well and will be enjoyable for the average golfer. The fairways are wide and the holes are not tremendously long.
A few of the tee boxes are not level which should be an easy fix for the course on the off season. A couple of the pin placements were not very fair as they were directly on a slope where you couldn't get the ball to stop.
All and all, a nice course for a reasonable price. I would recommend the course to the average golfer.

Overall that course is in great shape. THey got alot of rain the night before. It was cart path only, which made it a little more difficult to play and enjoy (but understandable). The course is very well maintained and greens roll very consistent.
Defenitely a course to put on your must play list!

The course was nice. It was in decent shape. It was nice to see sand in the trap and the traps well taken care of.
There was no cart person, starter or course attendent to provide any assistance once you left the 1/10 tee box. As a result, the course played extremely slow.
Overall, it was enjoyable. Just slowwwww.....

This is one of the better courses in the Chicagoland area. A must play for any intermediate to skilled player.
