I’ve played Kiln Creek several times over the years. Always in solid condition. Played with a big group of guys this weekend and you can tell the heat has really gotten to some of the greens. Not the first time this has happened. They will bounce back. Place has the best greens around during the spring and fall, so I’ll def be back once they heal. But the different maker was the service and staff. Matt gave us pin sheets from their club championship to help us with the greens and was polite about letting us know about course conditions. And staff were there to meet us in the parking lot when we arrived. That’s a first. No other clubs do that around here. Carts have GPS too. No other clubs offer that either. Then to have a place like the Nest to eat after your round is def a head above the rest. I’ll be back with my regular foursome in September.

Jamestown Course is back to its former glory. Probably better now that the greens are Bermuda. They were smooth and had great speed. Course doesn’t beat you up off the tee. Very playable even for a 16 Handicap like me. For the average joe this def the best conditioned public course in Williamsburg.
