I used to play Diable frequently but they've let it deteriorate to such a condition that most fairways are barren with the right side of the 4th hole is cracked earth like in a desert. I could go into detail but why? The city of Brentwood has let it's ONLY remaining golf course go back to the field from whence it came. First Shadow Lakes, then Roddy Ranch and DeerRidge. Is Brentwood next? I will not play any of the three nines until some drastic changes are made!!!

Since reopening after the COVID closing the Brentwood Golf Course has raised the rates 25% and done nothing to improve either the pace of play or the course conditions. On the positive side, the greens are generally quite good, rolling smooth although generally slow. On the negative side, other than the barren fairways and no sand in the bunkers, the tee boxes are overrun with something akin to weeds, when there is growth on the tee area.

I really would like to support this course as it's a fun layout but the cost and conditions have caused me to travel 30-50 miles to play nicer and better kept courses for equal or less rates.

The course is two nine hole courses back to back between homes. Relatively well laid out with some easy and some challenging holes. The greens are slower than I'm used to but hold shots well and run true. Due to a stretch of very hot weather the fairways and tee boxes were not in the best condition. Most fairways are pretty barren and hard giving the tee shots extra length. That being said I like the course and will continue playing there.
