Lionhead Golf and Country Club - Legends
Played On 8/9/2013Not for the High Handicapper of Faint of Heart
A beautiful course that is most challenging.
Pace of play was slow (5:15) due to "carts only" rules in the AM (after significant rain the prior day). Regardless, I think that you should expect at least a 4:30 round here.
If you are more than an 18 HCP, you should play the other course, as you may find this one frustrating, slow down play for the other golfers, and not enjoy the game as much as you should.
Lely Resort Golf & Country Club - Flamingo Island Course
Played On 3/16/2013Consistently Good Value
Both courses at Lely are always well maintained, and provide a good challenge for any level golfer. Staff is cordial, and you get good value for your money as long as you are not paying their rack rate.
TwinEagles Golf & Country Club - Eagle Course
Played On 3/15/2013Great Course
Ultra fast greens, and chalenging layout.
A good test.
Bonita Bay East - Sabal Course
Played On 3/13/2013Lightning Fast Greens
A beautiful, well maintained golf course with greens that were running at 13 the day we played.
A challenging but fun experience.
Overpriced and a non-inspiring layout.
A mediocre course for the money.
A strange layout with no sand traps, and shaved greens.
The layout is un-inspiring and somewhat pedestrian.
There are many much better courses in the area.
We won't be back, nor will we recommend to anyone.
Royal Ontario Golf Club
Played On 6/14/2012A big letdown
Staff seemed dis-interested, course was in mediocre condition. A shame really because the layout is interesting.
