For the price and early tee time 7:30 AM, was in excellent shape for the summer. Greens were rolling very true (which is impressive considering the tropical and humid harsh conditions). Great all around staff.
Highly recommend — I’m just bummed can’t get out for early tee times usually because of league play on Saturday mornings… a GREAT condition and value for middle of summer

It is a simple/easier course with lots of room to hit driver left or right, which does make for fun and not so much target golf compared to the other courses in the area..!

Very neat layout, probably would put it just barely a notch above Panther Run which is also in Ave Maria. Has A LOT of risk reward shots which makes it very interesting
Playability is very good while also can be challenging for the more advanced.

Only negatives :
- green putting, but has to grow in because a new course..
- no water at clubhouse or to buy, so it is easy to get dehydrated out there for sure.

Have wanted to play for a while and finally got the chance to. No idea there was so much acreage near Orlando to where you feel like you are secluded and in the Isles of the UK. Fabulous, staff great, can't think of any negatives. A true test of golf and very enjoyable at the same time.

On vacation so drove here. Best condition course has been in that I’ve ever played it. Always one of the memorable rounds I get to play when the chance comes along. Superb job!

The ONLY downside is a little pricey for summer rates, but yes it is worth it.

Incredible course. Got to play thru dusk. Walked and took 5 hours — will say that between some holes are too long and steep climbs, but we loved and wanted to savor the ‘true golf experience’. I was disappointed they didn’t have ‘walking paths’ down the middle of fairways from the tee boxes like a true course would— especially because all other elements really preserved the LINKS feel and did feel like in the UK.
Greens were medium speed/slow but I guess expected in winter — very fair and not crazy undulating so very attachable and inviting course layout overall.
Was a delight meeting some golf now employees while receiving great hospitality from the starter and the kitchen staff (gave us free coffee on the go!!)

Impressed for being a 'public play course'. Bunkers are very tough and challenging -- reminded me of links style pot bunkers that punish you. Rough is grown out way too long. Other than that, in very good shape for the value. Reminds me kind of Brooksville Country Club. Has many elevated greens and shots which make it fun. Nothing breathtaking, but solid course and recommend for the money...

Indeed, drove from St. Pete to meet up with my dad in town....was worth the 1 hour drive. Pristine conditions with very true, fast rolling greens. Haven't quite played a course tucked into a nature preserve like this one while still feeling open enough. A gem for sure, very impressed and beats about any golf course in the St. Pete area for sure (would put on par with rolling oaks at brooksville in World Woods).

Was a good round on a decent course, found it as was on drive home from the North for a ‘stopover’. The greens were in very good condition while the fairways pretty torn up. The layout was super interesting with many dog legs and lots of elevation for Florida!

Best shape Ive seen it in. Def worth the drive from Tampa Bay Area, immaculate greens that put true. And STUNNING views throughout the course....

Definitely the most scenic course around....but consequently one of the hardest! Excellent course all around.

Course conditions including fairways and greens were very poor, even more so than my public course I live close to in St Pete. Luckily only paid $15 to play with a hot deal, but that was barely worth it. Course layout very interesting and challenging, but sadly let the course go.
On top of that, what was worse was the lack of etiquette of landscape staff -- would mow, etc right when hitting ball or go in front of you down the fairway while driving...very surprised. Will not be back probably ever.

I think the best course I have played in Florida (live in Tampa Bay, travel to Orlando and Brooksville frequently).
Did not 'feel' like resort course, which is a great thing -- but rather felt like were immersed in nature and enjoying pure gold.
Greens are incredible - tough with undulations/rifts and many MANY different pin location options which made it fun because they were still fair.
WOW - holed out a 8-iron which helps my mood :) -- but then double bogeyed the next hole and still had fun, so that tells you something!!
Hoping I can find to get a way on this course again for a reasonable rate, amazing.

Met a college buddy coming down from Georgia. From the moment entered to every single hole, couldn't have asked for better. Greens rolled very nicely even in this summer heat (and sunk a couple long ones too). They are true. The beauty of this course is while it is challenging layout, you get what you see so it is overall fair. Absolutely in love with this course and consider it at the best level of all courses I've played (comparable to copperhead, etc.) after living in Tampa Bay area for 2 years. Staff is exceptional

Great layout, rolling hills and cliff shots. Super fun. I usually shoot low 80s and did so here. Only disappointment was greens had just been aerated like a week before so didn't get to experience them in all their glory.
A top notch course indeed, highly recommend.

I live in St. Pete so is around 2 hour drive...have been itching to play for 2 years since moved here and was able to as was making a drive back home from up in Atlanta....
Wow, I would put it top notch with any course I've played in Tampa Bay area (TPC Tampa Bay, Waterlefe, World Woods) and is just so affordable. Gorgeous scenery and immaculate greens that were large and undulating but also fair. My one complaint would be a lack of yardage markers/posts on the course. It was spectacular and hope I get the chance to play there again someday!

I live near downtown St. Pete -- thus, was around a 50 minute drive to get there. Well worth it. This has been on my list to play for awhile....the greens were immaculate condition as well as layout with many of them very large, expansive, and with multiple levels. I really appreciated the fairways in great shape and not like the typical Florida 'sandy soil' that makes it easy to chunk the ball every time.
It was very creative layout and fair while also being challenging. The drives were somewhat demanding but not too narrow or unfair. I had just played TPC Tampa at a more costly rate and would put this course better rated across the board --- on par with World Woods. Excellent.

Honestly did feel like I was as St. Andrews aside from it being 100 degrees in Florida summer. Great summer rate made it attractive. Course in excellent shape with greens given it is high summer. Amazingly hard bunkers and hazards that emulate links. Only disappointment is that fairways were not link style in that they didn't run as long and far as expected so really just ended up playing driver off the tee....excellent overall.

One of my friends had only played a round of golf in his life and was able to keep up and enjoy it! I am a 9 handicap and was challenged and delighted with the course. Very creative layout, about 4 of the holes are actually in the marsh area. The final 3 holes are incredible and in the marsh. Overall a challenging but at the same time not very punishing course. It is up there with scenery and fun views but still not comparable to other 'great' courses in Florida. Thus, was a little disappointed to pay >$50 for a twilight rate in the summer....

VERY friendly and accommodating staff, knowledgeable about the course and others in the area.

Course layout very creative and fun while at the same time approachable for average golfer. Great elevation changes especially on the back 9.

Greens had been aerated the week prior so were a little slow but still rolled okay (will be perfect once in better shape and a little faster).
