Pace of play is sometimes very slow ,could be the mixture of walkers and riders. easy course to walk .

Greens were very radical. Couldn't hit ball hard enough to get it to the hole.

For an executive course. Price is right, course always seems to be crowded , decent practice facilities, never have eaten there, didn't go to eat. I think greens were in great shape. Great location. Fun course to play

theres two 18 hole courses. be sure you play the LINKS course . this has some really challenging holes , sort of a hilley terrain. if you can imagine that in phoenix always a fun course. i don't care for the adobe just flat . and the courses lie beneath the famous wrigly house , great champane brunches

Alright if you like 6 hour rounds and players that don't like to let faster players play through

I played Papago for 12 years back kn the 90 s . Course is a lot better now more grass where there used to be dirt, grass was thicker didn't get much roll. I had quit playing when aga took over cause the rates went to $ 59. Putting is still a big challenge . I do miss all the big trees. They cut down , but I noticed they added fairway sand traps, always a challenge , Papago

The greens were terrible. Had just been aeriated. But is easy to get on in summer, and for $10. With cart is a fair price. Not hard , shot my age, only met 1 other person in 2:hours of play. Like it in the summer. Wouldn't play it for over $20though.

the staff is very good and helpful.
but the course really lacks just a little bit of water, very dry , greens have green dye over all the bare spots. the grass on the greens is crusty. even if you hit on the front of green the ball will roll over the back. i found myself playing one club short in order to land in front of green to allow for added roll. no ranger , i was a single behind a twosome behind a threesome who would not allow them to play thru. we were out there for over 5 hours waited on every shot it was sad, but at least i got to finish my book.

the fairways looked like they haadn't been watered in a month.
the greens were hard as cement. bare spots all over hadn't been watered in weeks would not hold a high shotthey were pathedic to say the least. the sand traps were as hard as the sidewalk, your club wou ld bounce of the surface . just in terrible shape
