Good challenging course but there is no sand in the bunkers. The bunkers were hardpan dirt. If the bunkers were in better shape this would be an awesome course

Course was in nice shape. Lots of interesting holes. Pace was good. Overall a good experience.

We liked it so much we played it the next day as well. Greens were excellent. Very nice layout, some long tough par 4s especially on the front 9. Open enough to be playable, but enough places to get in trouble to make it interesting. The rough is thick.

Greens on the back 9 have some issues with dead spots. We booked an early afternoon round to make sure we could finish 18 holes. The time booked on golf now said 3:21. When I got to the course I was told it was 3:12. Luckily our group was early so we got off on time. On the first tee we were asked to make sure we kept pace because they had several groups behind us. Our Foresome kept pace with the twosome ahead of us. On hole 7, there were suddenly 12 high school kids on the tee. They were driven from the clubhouse to the 7th tee and told to start there in front of the paying customers. Very ignorant to slide two groups of 6 in front of people who paid $40 and booked early so we could finish. After we complained, the staff told us the kids would only play 3 holes and would be gone. On the back 9 we ran into a very slow group of women, luckily we were able to skip a hole, finish and go back to play the hole we skipped. If we didn't do that we would not have finished. In general the course is good. But the ignorance of placing two groups of 6 in front of us didn't sit well with the several groups that were delayed. Especially after we were asked on the first tee to keep pace. We will not go back during high school golf season.

Only complaint and reason for the 3 star rating on amenities it that when we finished the bar and restaurant were already closed

Great track. Plenty of places to get in trouble. Sand, water, shrubs, but the fairways are plenty wide. Back nine gets a little windy. Greens were average speed, but when I got to the back nine I figured out why. Plenty of slope on the greens. The only think I would recommend is a map of the course. Course is tough especially on the first play. They should give some distances and a hole layout.

Nice greens with a lot of break. They roll very nicely.

Course in good shape, . Some greens a little beat up but that seems to be the case everywhere in the Chicago area this year.

Almost every green has dead spots and patches that were replaced. Greens were very slow. Pace of play was over 5 hours. It seems like the problem with the greens is at most courses in the area. Bad winter must have contributed.
