Very enjoyable round. Course was not busy. Course is in very good shape. Course is longer than most.

Always look forward to playing Quail. We hope that we will improve our scores from before. The course is not easy. Some of the holes are difficult even from the white tees. We have scored from birdie to triple bogey on each of the first 3 holes. Hole 7 is hard to reach in two strokes and hole 8 can take a bite out of you. You must hit your drive straight on number 11 and all the rest of the holes on the back or pay the penalty. Course is long and challenging but we enjoy playing here.

We play this course several times a month and enjoy playing it. It really helps to hit your driver straight in order to score. The course is very hilly so don't expect many level lies for your shots. The first two holes have out of bounds left which is a major street with lots of traffic, so keep your shots right of the tee. Many challenging holes and all the greens have lots of slope. Expect to three putt some of the greens. Fairly long off the tees even though the do not have a blue tee. Three long uphill par 3's with tough putting especially if you hit past the hole. Nice public course for the money.
