Grand Canyon University Golf Course
Played On 12/10/2022Great as Always
This course is really consistent as you would expect with a course that hosts a college golf program. Pace of play was right around 4:45 which would usually be slow but for a Saturday in December in AZ was fine. It didn’t feel slow, just realized the time at the end. Course was a little more wet than usual and had a couple of balls plug on high wedge shots but that was the only thing that wasn’t as good as it usually is. Worth the money and you always know it’s gonna be a good round.
Union Hills Golf & Country Club
Played On 02/06/2021Don’t Waste Your Time or Money, Staff was horrendous
Spent the whole round getting harassed by other players and the staff. The group in front of us was a 2some that was walking the course so we had to wait a bit to tee off on each hole. Got hit into constantly by the group behind us and the got yelled at by the Marshall to speed up pace of play on the 8th hole and we were 1:45 into our round. We pointed out the walking group and sighted safety of not hitting into them and he told us it wasn’t his problem and to speed up anyway. Let the group behind us play through at the turn and had the clubhouse yell at us to stop standing around while we were trying to let them play through so alleviate some of the issues. Groups around us were wearing sweat pants and sneakers. Overall the worst experience I have had golfing and I play about once a week all over the valley. My father has had similar issues there with staff in the past.
Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club
Played On 07/20/2020Challenging Course
Definitely a challenging course the first time you play. It is a unique layout with a lot of blind tee shots. You need to take advantage of the par 3s to keep your score competitive as they are the most straight forward holes on the course. Every other hole outside the first poses danger which is fun.
Quintero Golf Club
Played On 07/11/2020Worth the Drive and the Money
Took my dad to play Quintero as our 1 “expensive” round a year. It was worth the money for sure. Great course layout. It’s difficult but not so hard that you want to just get it over with by the 13th hole. Whether it actually is or not, it feels 5-10 degrees hotter out there than the temperature says but they have hydration stations for you to get water and ice which is a great touch. They come find you with any food you order which is also great. Definitely worth the drive and money to spend a day out there, especially with a golf enthusiast.
Wigwam Resort - Red Course
Played On 05/30/2020My Favorite of the 3 Courses
Wigwam Red is a great course and they have kept it in wonderful shape. This is the 5th time I have played it and I enjoy it each time. Challenging enough where you have to make shots and you can get in trouble but you can still score on it without having to be a scratch golfer. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys good views and wants to play fun but challenging golf.
Arizona Biltmore Golf Club - Estates Course
Played On 05/16/2020Always An Enjoyable Time
Biltmore Adobe is a staple for myself and my dad during the summer. The Biltmore/Wigwam summer pass is great value and all 5 courses are kept up well. Adobe is one of the easier layouts but it challenging enough that you want to come back and try to score better. Staff is always friendly, pace of play is always great (my dad is in his 80s and we finished our 4some round in 3 hr 50 min) and it’s a relaxing atmosphere.
Highly recommend for anyone just looking to play a quality course with fantastic views.
South at Antelope Hills Golf Course
Played On 03/21/2020Always a good course
This is the third time I have played Antelope Hills. The first time was when I just began playing and it made me want to get better because some of the holes just have a fun layout. Brought my dad this time and he loved it, wants to come back and play the north course. If you want a good course you can score on but with a little danger, this is perfect. Had great chances to try and have a long drive competition with friends and very green every time I have played it.

Played On 09/28/2018Really Nice Course, Pace or Play is an issue
This is my second time playing the course and the course itself has been nice both times. It has some dead patches of grass but for this time of year that is normal and it is in better shape than most.
Both times I have played I have had the same issue, pace of play. I teed off as a 4some the first time, no one on hole 1 in front of us that we could see. By the 5th we were standing on the tee box waiting for the group in front of us to even tee off. That group picked up a 5th person at the turn and didn’t get their group broken up until the 17th hole. Turned it into a 5 hour round.
2nd time I teed off on my own with a 3 some ahead of me but no one ahead of them. I caught them on 2 where they lost a club, parked their carts in the fairway and started walking around looking for it, drove back to the tee box with 1 cart and 1 person still in the middle of the fairway looking back waiting. Course Marshall drove right by them and said nothing. Front 9 took 2.5 hours as they kept parking their carts together and walking 3 different directions to their balls. They finally let me pass them at the turn but again no help from the staff out on the course.
