Very windy and usually windy. Challenging especially because of the wind
Diablo Grande Golf & Country Club

We live in San Jose which is almost a 2 hour drive. We would usually buy a 36 hole special and spend the day there. I preferred the other course for it's peacefulness since there are no homes on that course. Basically the drought killed the course. Sad

You must wear slacks or golf appropriate attire to go to the range...I can't go on the way home in my work clothes to hit a bucket. I have to buy their balls to go to the chipping green, $7 for a small. The range doesn't open before the first tee time and they will routinely close the range before sunset. The snack shack doesn't open until after 9am. So a 6:30 tee time you make the turn before they open for any food. Only 1 cart girl for the 36 holes and she doesn't start until after 9am. They close the shack early, long before the sun sets, like 5pm. During the summer, we would chase the sun after work. They would shut down the course when the sun was still up. This happened many times. they turn the sprinklers on the back 9 before sunset, therefore if you're trying to finish your round, they want to go home. This also happened many times to us. They will not tell you if they punched the greens when you make your tee time, you only find out after you get there and spend over $100 to play in the sand. Total waste if you want to practice before you play, eat at the turn, finish your round, practice after work, total waste. Nice course if you can just tee it up after someone else pays for your round....
