Don'r be fooled.

Only 9 holes but with tee block relocation on the repeat 9 when playing 18 this course offers a great challenge. Very cool and windy the day we played but great day. Greens were in great shape not showing the usual signs of winter prep. Overall conditions showed management's commitment to offering a good quality tract to play at a reasonable rate.

Tough Greens for a Short Track

For a short course the greens were the biggest challenge. Hard to hold when flag mostly on an incline. Good tract to practice your irons for sure. Conditions went from rain to sun, overall a little chilly but great staff made up for it.. Cart paths were a disaster not being paved. Overall was a good day as we head into our No Golf season...

Where is there a Marshall when you need one!

This used to be a nice course to play. The conditions overall were pretty rough. Tee blocks a mess, more weeds than grass on fairways. Greens were good though. Pace of play ridiculous, over 4 and half hours. Over booking by the look of it. Guys waiting on approach shots of 230yds when they can't hit 180. One marshal shows up only to do nothing in terms of solving problems ahead at one point 3 groups on a hole...pro shop guy having to do everything, get carts etc. Check-in was slow but no help for the guy... why do courses now let all these twosome out when they are so busy...never used to allow this....many courses in this vicinity, so have lots of choices, so no reason to return.

Feel good course!

This course is great for all level players with 4 sets of tees. Conditions were fairly good in spite of the drought in this area. Red course is a nice warm up to the second nine the gold which has a more interesting layout. Pace was great. Finished in just under 4 hours. This is a fairly flat track, wide open course wiith some challenging greens. Over all a great course to practice the short game. Would recommend it.

Average course

Played the New Course, and have played this course before but not for quite a while. Do not remember the greens, tee blocks etc. being in such bad shape. Glad we got a real deal through golf now. Would not want to have paid full price. Seems like they have a fair number of members and seeing they already have their money, they don't worry about the course conditions. We have had great weather here with a good mix of sun and rain therefore the course should look a lot better than it does.

Great course interesting layout, good shapes and great value.

This course offers a great challenge to all levels of players. It was in amazing shape including the greens. Played it two times in the last week.... Oct 11 and Oct 18.......a little water on a few fairways but it was from so much rain the day before. As always with this season in Ontario leaves present a great problem when landing it off of the fairway....With a variety of hole layouts it never gets boring. Many holes involve water hazards so be sure to look for them when they are placed directly behind the green. Pro shop staff were great but both times the dining room/bar staff were quite rude...first time she was texting and checking her phone while we tried to order, 2nd time a different staff member seemed like she couldn't be bothered serving us... with new bar staff this course could be five star....

Great layout, great pace, great value!

A beautiful setting, playable for all skill levels. Used to be called it's present name then changed to Loch Ness for a few years and now back to "Hunters Point". Only problem on this course is that 90% of time there will be a wind factor. We got lucky this day with very little to no wind at all. It has many sand hazards and greens can be quite tricky. They manage tee times excellent ensuring a great paced round. Many of the holes are pretty unique with not too many duplicating another. With four sets of tees all handicaps will find theirs. There are many beautiful homes aligning some of the holes but rarely come into play . Be sure to visit their beautiful clubhouse with a wonderful menu. Sit out on the patio area which is strategically placed to watch the 9th and 18th come in. Love this course played may times and this last round was most enjoyable as we got partnered with two guys that made it a great day ... and you can't always say that... thanks again to M. and M.

Overall for a civic course is well maintained, offers a real challenge to the mid to high handicappers. Good value for the fee.

An older style layout playing 6000 or so yards from the blues. Offers a number of hazards, both water and sand. Lies can be challenging as course is cut into side of the escarpment. Well maintained, friendly staff, tee times on time. Quite enjoyable.

Older style course would satisfy most high handicap players.

Decided to walk the course and found it to be quite hilly as the name suggests. This course is an older layout with most holes being wide open. There are a fair number of both sand and water hazards. It is far from manicured but well maintained. Greens were actually in excellent shape. Being the start of the season things were lush but one can imagine it to be a very dry course mid summer. Nice club house and pro shop. Overall course is fair for the price.

Worth the drive for the average golfer!

A little bit of a drive as the course is located in the small country town of Renton in Norfolk County. Wonderful clubhouse with great staff and good food. This course is most suited to the mid to high handicapper. With three different nines, replay will not be boring. Offers a real variety of holes and with each a varied level of difficulty. Played it during the drought of summer and also in the fall. Maintenance in both seasons was very good with great attention paid to leaf blowing during our October outing.

Good value.

This course is suitable for the mid to high handicapped golfer. Course has three different nines. Layout is not repetitive. Has a good mix of both water and sand hazards. Well groomed conditions in spite of hot weather as they have their own ponds. Staff are friendly and pace of play was good.
