The course was in great shape. The greens are lightning fast. The pace of play was really good. We played in 4 hours. The only issue I saw was some sand traps had hard sand. Meaning the club bounced instead of digging into the sand. Otherwise terrific.

Foster Greens is always a good course to get your swings in. The course, like most courses in Seattle area, was very wet, with many standing water areas on the fairways, in the traps, and even on a few greens. For the most part, it was okay, but I had to play preferred lies, lift clean and place, even on some greens. I lucked out with the weather, as it poured in the early a.m., but cleared up for me during my mid-day round.
The grounds crew was lazy, in that greens that had a lot of leaves, twigs or small buds on them were not cleared, or swept. It would not have been much work to clean those greens up.
Otherwise, the course was in good condition. I was glad to get a round in when it was NOT raining.

The course was in pretty good shape. The greens are not bad for having been aerated 2 weeks ago. A little bumpy, but definitely something to work with. The tee boxes are terrible. On most holes, the tees are rough, uneven and patchy. It is ridiculous because the tees are big enough for them to move the tees around, and work on the rough areas. There should always be a decent tee box for blacks, blues and whites. Some of the ladies tees are in front of norm tee boxes, so that should be addressed as well.

This course proves a good challenge for my game. I enjoy playing it. Today, it rained all the night before and I thought I would be washed out. But when I arrived in Auburn, the rain stopped. It was cloudy, a little windy, but did not rain again for my entire round.
I got the rate from Golf Now, $20 including the cart. There were supposed to be 3 others with me, but they evidently did not believe there would be no rain for our round, and did not show up (on time, anyway). I played alone. And I played behind a 2-some, so I took my time, took some extra shots, and enjoyed my round.
The course was wet, but not 'soaked'. The fairways drained well, and still gave some roll. The greens here are always great, and they were again. Challenging because they are fast!
The #16th par 3 hole with water and a waterfall is very challenging for me. Today, the pin was in an impossible position. The green is huge, and slopes to the water on the left. And the pin was in the back left..
I salvaged a 4 from the sand, and holed a 12 foot putt.

The course conditions were great. The pace of play was good, but not great. The group in front of us had some difficulties, and played slow.
The greens are fast, tricky. And I love to play (and hate to play) holes 9 and 18. Both are great holes, but difficult due to the water hazards.
Overall, a great day.

I always enjoy my round at Mt. Si. Today I was paired with 2 people, first time playing with them, and enjoyed my round again. The pro shop always is ready to get you off on time, and assist to make things go smooth.
The course is a good challenge, but it is also set up nicely to allow for fast play. The rough is not high, tough in most areas, so you can find your ball and keep moving.
The greens were in great shape, and were pretty consistent.
With the groupon price, including the cart, it was a good value.

This course is short and a decent challenge. It is a good course for the year's first round or for an ego builder.
Copperhead w/o much water
The price was right, through Golfnow. The staff was courteous and eager to help. They explained the information needed to go around the course. I joined up with a three some who also had never played the course. I liked the layout. It favors the straight hitter or someone who can draw the ball.
The course needs water. The ball runs forever on the fairways and the greens, so usually that got us in more trouble. The greens on the front nine were in tough shape. Lots of divits, Sandy patches, and they did not have a good roll. I rate them 5 out 10. On the back, there was more grass and consistency. I rate them 8 out of 10.
I would like to play this course when it is green.
2 notes. At the turn, the pro shop and snack bar were closed. And they told us to have carts back by 7 pm, even though there was enough light to continue playing. Evidently, the staff is paid until 7. I finished my round, hurrying on the last 2 holes, came in at 7:15 and got some flack for it.
I don't blame them, but I would do the same again.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. Thank you for the 4 stars! We aim for a 5-star experience, so we always welcome feedback for improvement. Thank you for playing Riverbend Golf Complex.
