First time playing Thorntree now that is open to the public. Greens were in great shape. Fairway grass was dormant so want to play it later this spring. Challenging course made even more difficult by 20 mph+ swirling winds all afternoon. The staff was awesome. You will be hard pressed to find a more friendly staff all the way around. I will definitely be back.

The course could be so much nicer. There were multiple fairways that were thin, had brown spots or had patches of dirt. For the money we paid, there are a number of DFW courses in better shape. The staff is excellent. It is shame they don't have a course to match.

Course is in great condition. Started at 5 and was able to get in all 18 in 3:15 minutes. Need to hit the driver straight or it will be a long day at TV. Not much margin for error if you miss the fairways. Only negatives are 1) there is no GPS in the carts and 2) it is a little pricey for a muni (even a really nice one) until the twilight rate kicks in.

Played Riverside a number of times. It is one of the best values in DFW. Number 18 into the south wind is one of the toughest holes around. Pace is generally good during the week. Teed off at 12:20 and played in a little less than 4 hours on a Friday.
