We had a disappointing round of golf here. From the dirt caked range balls to the hard, sand-less bunkers, this was not a great golf experience.
On the positive side, it was cart path only because of recent rain, and it really wasn't much of an issue because the fairways are relatively narrow. Pace of play was really good - we finished in 4 hours - it was Super Bowl Sunday, which I think impacted the golfers on the course that afternoon. I also liked the greens - fast and pretty true. Our back nine was on the Clipper, and those greens seemed bumpy (but still not too bad).
The fairways were pretty dormant - much more brown than green and it is not a lush course. Even on the fairways, there seemed to be little grass to hit off. Perhaps it's in better shape later in the year, but I will spend my golf dollars elsewhere.
