Conditions good, layout challenging. pace of play, not good at all. I asked when I was in the pro shop if there was a marshall on the course and was told yes. We teed off on time only to realize that there was a fivesome in front of us and they were waiting on every shot. After four holes the fivesome changed to a foursome but nothing else changed. Had to wait on every shot. Never seen the marshall untill hole 16. Barely finished with enough light left in the day. This is not the first time that this has happened. Nice course if you do not mind a 5 hour round.

A perfect day to play with great conditions, staff friendliness and US open last day pin placements. My and my group's only complaint was the pace of play which was five hours from start to finish. It is pretty sad when you are basically having a conversation on most every tee box with the group ahead of you. There was never a marshall to be found on the course to help speed up play. With a course that likes to think of themselves as a top tier golf facility, certainly they could afford to place a marshall on the course.

I have played and enjoyed this course many times. This is my one and only complaint. When I booked this tee time the day before, there was NO MENTION that the greens had been punched and heavily sanded. Even after paying the greens fee in the pro shop and getting a practice bucket, no mention of the greens. It was only when I got to the driving range that I realized the course conditions. Had I known about the punching and sanding, I never would have played there as there are plenty of other options. This lack of honesty by management does not promote good will from the golfers that help support it by playing there. Your membership is not large enough to financially sustain the operation so get in the habit of treating us non-members better.

I called the pro shop the previous Friday morning and asked three questions before booking a tee time on Sunday: 1. Did they aerify. 2. condition of greens. 3. overall condition of course. I was told that they did not aerify and the condition of the greens were excellent and the overall condition of the course was very good. Having so many tee time openings in the morning made me a little skeptical but I reasoned that it was because of the last day of the TPC tournament. After checking in I noticed that the practice green was very brown and patchy. I was told that this was not indicative of the rest of the course and there has been a long period without rain. Does this course not have a sprinkler system? I think not because the fairways and tees lacked an important component, I call it GRASS! The greens were fair at best and that is being very generous. My biggest issue was being lied to on the phone. I had two friends from out of state with me and was completely embarrassed having told them that this was a good layout and in great condition per my phone call on Friday morning to the prop shop. If your looking to improve your play on hard pan fairways with very tight lies, sub par greens then book this course. Don't bother to inquire by phone about condition, you will just be lied to.

The pace of play was excellent mainly because there were not very many golfers. The tees need a lot of work as grass is hard to find. Fairway conditions are OK, green conditions were OK. I realize that we are in a drought condition for this area but it still seems that they are not using the sprinklers as they should. The greens fees seem to be a bit expensive for the quality of the course.

Had an appointment cancel at last minute so I looked to see what was available with little time. This proved to be a big mistake. I had not played this course in several years, when the condition was pretty decent. Things have changed dramatically. This course does not qualify for a goat track or cow pasture. Both have grass!! If it were not for the dollar weed and every other kind of weed, I doubt you would see anything green. No wonder there were few golfers on the course.
I can honestly say that this probably rates as the worse conditioned course I have ever played. too bad because the layout is pretty good.
