Staff is always great, food is good, course is in great shape.

I have played Morningstar a number of times and have always found the course to be in pretty good shape. It is such a shame that the greens have been damaged, supposedly by poisoned water according to some other reviews. We had a pretty good rate with GolfNow so I can't complain too much but I can't believe they are still charging full fare for regular green fees. Only other complaint are the bunkers need to be re-built there is no where near enough sand in many of them.

Staff is always great at Cowichan, greens can be tough if you don't know the breaks.

A very enjoyable round of golf. A few greens are suffering from the recent drought so it was fitting that we got rained on for a few holes. I found that the sand bunkers need to be raked better or have some addition sand brought in as they are getting thin. Morningstar is a challenging course at times but who isn't up to a challenge. First time playing the Silver tees, (hybrid of the blue/white) & thought the distance was perfect.

Thanks GolfNow, course was in great shape, the couple we met up with from Singapore were wonderful people and we had a great day. Pace of play was slow due to a couple of mixed groups having some problems but all in all an enjoyable round.
