This course has not come back from a problem with the water last Spring. Fairways a mess; greens with very rough patches.
Wait to see if the overseeding done last week will help.
Mystic Dunes Golf Club
Played On 4/17/2013Nice course, terrible greens
This is a very interesting track with a lot of variation. The design is unique and the undulations give it a very different feel from other FL courses. The greens, however, were awful. The staff indicated that because of the very sandy soil, the lifespan of the greens was about 10 years and they were trying to decide if they would spend the $1 million necessary to rip them up and start over. Until they do, I would advise against this course. It was the worst value of any courses that I have booked through GolfNow.
Ragged Mountain Golf Club

This is a very interesting mountain course with great variation. The course conditions were improved over 2011 and the greens were very good. Cart paths are rough. There are some hazards that cross the fairway that come into play without adequate warning. Be prepared for severe sidehill, uphill, and downhill lies. A fun couse that you will shake your head a few times as your ball disappears into the wools or hazards.
Waukewan Golf Club

This is a funky course with several blind shots and some very unusual holes. The value through GolfNow was very good. Better after playing it a few times. Try to avoid after a rainy period as it can be wet.
