The Club at Starr Pass - Rattler/Coyote
Played On 09/17/2020End of a dry summer
I've played here probably 100+ times in the last 15 years and I have to admit it was in the worst shape I've ever seen it. I am sure that the lack of our monsoons this year helped create this. I am hoping they can bounce back and get to where they would like to be. Still playable, but with preferred lues to take you out of the dry/dirt spots all over the course. And, the tee boxes need to be re-graded so you don't have uneven lies from them!!!
San Ignacio Golf Club
Played On 10/24/2016Best conditions in years
I have played this course too many times to count. In recent years, the course has had condition issues....especially the greens. I gave this course a chance again as I truly enjoy the layout and challenge it presents. I have to say that they have REALLY put some attention in getting the course in prime condition again and to get the greens playable.... and the succeeded!! There were only a couple small spots on a couple greens that are being tended to. Though the greens were slow due to recent overseeding, they are once again full!! I highly recommend this course to any one in the area wanting to play!! If you aren't one to hit the ball straight, just bring extras!
