The course is routed through a subdivision, but the houses are spaced well back and dont really factor very much. The fairways are pretty wide. Water hazards on a few holes. Greens are in very good condition and have quite a bit of contour. Perhaps still a bit slow but they do roll predictably and consistently. I had a really good round, which usually leaves you with a favourable impression. I am looking forward to playing here again.

Was hesitant to book here after reading some of the reviews. My wife and I got hooked up with another couple and had a very enjoyable round of golf. The pace of play was excellent - 4 hours 10 minutes. Course was moderately challenging. Fairways pretty wide. Enough variety to make things interesting. Will definitely play here again.

The course is moderately challenging. The overseed has come in pretty well. The rough is dormant Bermuda. Carts on paths and in rough only which at times can be a pain. The greens are still very slow. Not one of Pete Dye's very punishing courses. I did enjoy the experience and would return once the greens are cut down.

Well laid out course. No houses and reasonably wide fairways. A few greens were a bit rough but overall were in decent shape. The brush lining many of the fairways is extremely thorny, so errant shots are a problem. Bunker sand is pretty hard. Good value for what I paid. Will probably try it again.

I have played Papago a couple of times with my wife, booking a red hot deal thru Golf Now. Great value! Course is scenic and has a lot of variation. Greens rolled pretty consistently and fairways were in good condition. I am a lower handicap and my wife is pretty high. We both walked away happy.
