Arrived a little apprehensively after reading all the reviews. Lots of what was said about course conditions, paying for range ball, lack of water on the course was correct. However I really enjoyed the golf with 2 great guys I was paired with. This course could be a real gem with some investment. Greens a bit slow but needed to be with some of the slopes. Who buried the elephant o the top layer of a par 3!
Great value for money and would definitely return. Just accept it for what it is.

I was lucky to choose this course as they played a shotgun start and I was paired with 3 members. They couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. I joined in their small group competition and was chauffeured around by Bill who was a truly great guy. The course was absolutely pristine and a joy to play. Whilst not overly difficult there was sufficient trouble to catch your attention. I will definitely play this course every time we come back as it was to me what golf is all about. Rate it highly.

Really enjoyed this course, my 8th round in 2 weeks and can honestly say these were the best greens.
Excellent welcome from Pro and cart guys, only observation, not criticism, is the amount of road crossings you have to make. That aside the course was easily playable with wide fairways that fed back to the middle. Great fun course to play, shot 82 off 12 handicap and let quite a few go begging through having fun and relaxing after taking on some of he big name courses. Recommend.

I played this course on our first visit 10 yrs ago. It never fails to impress, everything is just so right.
I love this course, layout, difficulty, condition and attention to detail. Everyone so pleasant and welcoming. Played off purple and got round in 4 hrs even following a slow group who seemed to be playing for the Crown Jewels! No one minded as the scenery was spectacular. Highly recommend.

Had a great time here again, except for the slow pace of play. It took over 5hrs and it was 104f with no breeze. All 4 of us suffered and we should have come in after 14 as it was wait wait wait.
The course marshalls were watching but appeared to do nothing. Great shame. Will think hard before coming back.

Really enjoyed this course. Staff very friendly and helpful, particularly the starter who paired me with another single and got us off early to avoid a large number of 4 balls about to tee off.
Course in great condition though bunkers short of sand and packed hard. Greens good pace and in good nick. We were let through by a couple of guys which meant we were around in 2hr 30 mins without rushing! Would play again.

First time back in 6 yrs. Things have only got better. Superb experience from start to finish. Would go as far as saying this is one of the best courses I have played - and travelling the world I have played a lot! Well done to all. Firecliff will be visited again.

Would definitely play here again. Superb practice facilities, Staff very helpful and course was great. Quite windy and played off green tees so course played long as the fairways had been experiencing LOTS of rain. Greens big and with lots of slopes whilst also running quite fast. Really really enjoyed this course.

A great find. Short course but excellent greens. Had to wait on front 9 but flew around the back 9. All staff fabulous and great value for money.

Really enjoyed this course. Great layout, staff very good and a layout that rewards good driving. Greens rolled well and overall would definitely recommend playing here.

Wow, what a toughie. Great course but any mistakes and it chewed you up and spat you out. Didn't have my best round as temp exceeded 100 too hot for 41/2 hours concentration. Greens really good and well paced. Bunkers seemed crusted and you could get caught out. Great finishing 3 holes with 17 being the pick. Played off blues but probably should have gone off white as it was so hot and a light wind which always seemed to be in your face!

Was really looking forward to playing here again and wasn't disappointed. Right from the start everyone was exceptionally helpful. Got out 30 mins early and as a 2 ball we were around in 3 hrs and that included being held up for the last 3 holes! Greens were a little slow and front 6 had been tined. Also some of the bunkers had little sand but that's being picky. Great course will play again.
