Great Rock Golf Club

I’ve played this course numerous times in the past and loved it. Great layout and it’s usually in very good condition. This is no longer the case. There were weeds filling up the bunkers and crab grass all over the fairways. The greens had numerous bald spots. It looks like the only maintenance they do now is mow the lawn and they are still charging full price. I won’t go back until they take some pride in the course. It could be a gem
Regulation Eighteen at Smithtown Landing Golf Club

The greens and fairways were excellent. Needs sand in the bunkers. The course could use more distance markers. I was playing with a twosome that didn't have a gps or rangefinder so I had to keep giving them their yardage. I didn't mind but it was time consuming. The pace of play was slow but I don't blame the course for that. A ranger spoke to the slow group ahead of me and they picked it up a bit. I will definitely play here again
Pine Hills Country Club
Played On 05/23/2015Way to early in the season for the course to be this bad
The greens were terrible for this time of year. Numerous patches of dirt and very bumpy. The tee boxes were beat up on most holes.
Cherry Creek - The Woods Course

I've played here many times before but I won't be going back. The course was covered in leaves making it almost impossible to find the ball even in the fairway. After 3 hours on the course the pro comes out to the 15th fairway and tells us we have to have the cart back by 3 o'clock. This was never mentioned when I was paying my green fees to the same guy. On the 16th hole the cart dies. The same guy comes out in a cart and tells us we have to walk the rest of the round if we want to pay all 18. I asked him for the cart he was driving and he said no. It was obvious he just wanted to go home early. There are many golf courses in that area so I will not be going back to cherry creek.
