This is an honest review. If you want a decent course to play that’s not expensive this might be your option. Do not expect the greens to be rolling well or true for that matter. I have been playing this course for about 20 years and it’s always been the same. Honestly unless you’re super close it’s pretty much hitting them firm as you can and hope it goes in. They are always fury and they don’t roll them at all. The sand traps are more like dirt traps and if it rains they turn into mud traps. The track is very fun to play though as the layout is cool. Lots of serene landscape and wildlife too. Pace of play usually is kind of slow due to the caliber of players but it’s not awful. So again for the value it is decent and I would recommend going and checking it out.

Fun layout and a good challenge. Tee boxes are not great. Bunkers are not sand more like clay with rocks in them. Greens good fairways good overall decent course.

Like the person’s review below me , it’s a dump. Do not waste your time. The reviews about how the course is great and in good condition and a great layout I’m not sure what they are smoking. Maybe they’ve never played a real legitimate course.

Course could really use some TLC. Greens are really bumpy and very slow as usual but even slower. The boxes are pretty poor. No food or beverage cart or cafe. Rype up and left a few weeks ago. Hopefully it gets in better condition soon cause I love the track!

New practice facility is nice but needs some time. The driving range is a rock. Ground is so hard you can’t even push a tee down. Also $10 for a large bucket and $7 for a small? Never paid that much in my life for range balls.

The course is playing ok. Greens are not in good shape. Fraiways are good as well as bunkers. Pace of play was pretty slow but manageable. Ball washers are all busted and don’t operate properly if at all. Hopefully they get these issues fixed soon. It’s a good track!

It was a beautiful day but the course was definitely a little muddy and very soft from all of the rain last week. This place does not drain very well unfortunately but the layout is good greens were rolling well and price is right!

Very nice layout. Greens roll true. Tee boxes are decent. Fairways are good. Just needs some tlc around the greens mostly as well a bunkers.

Love the course. Good layout challenging and fun to play. They are redoing some bunkers but the ones they’ve completed look and play awesome! There are some pathches of foreign grasses growing on the greens which definitely effected some putts otherwise greens are great! They are redoing the chipping and putting area so that is closed. Still this course is always in good shape and is definitely a fun one to play!

Played this course a hundred times this might be worst I’ve seen it. Yes they have no practice area that’s being redone should be great when finished. Yes they punched the greens but really just about everything is looking bad. Bunkers is bad shape tee boxes and honestly just the overall appearance has gone downhill. Hopefully they get it right.

Love the layout love the peaceful atmosphere out there! Just the greens are always slow. They were very inconsistent bumpy and fury. Otherwise it’s a great track.

The reviews are very misleading. After reading the reviews on here for the most recent plays I was very excited to go play this course. But upon arriving at the first Teebox I began to wonder what the previous people who left reviews were smoking! I saw one of you saying tee boxes fairways and greens are in excellent condition, that is far from the case. The greens have foreign grass growing on them I believe it's Poana, all the tee boxes are in terrible shape ( at least the white tees), the fairways were OK, the course has a cool layout but that's about it. Other than the excellent pace of play conditions were not good. I would not recommend this course. Especially when right across the street at South Hampton the greens are great!

Course is very unforgiving. The only thing I can say that's good about it besides that its 3 miles from my house is that the greens are well kept, other than that its not a good track at all! Also it's FLORIDA it rains out of nowhere and quite often and to NOT have the rain flaps on the back of the carts is beyond me. EVERY course I've ever played ESPECIALLY in FLORIDA has them. SO if its starts to rain be prepared to get your bag a clubs wet. Which I guess they don't know about or care but that is kinda important to keep your clubs and bag dry. Guess they are too cheap to get a new golf shoe cleaner too, ya know that device you run your foot through to get the muck out of the bottom of your shoes, yeah that was worn down to the plastic. Nice job Royal Golf and Country Club…really?? Country Club?!?! Wow!

Punched and sanded greens and punched tees and fairways. Greens are unplayable. Worst I've ever seen. Do not play for at least two weeks.

Green were aerated and sanded but other than that a must play.

It's in ok condition but they really sanded the greens a lot. But I still holed a few 10 to 15 footers so they are rolling ok.

1.Bunkers are horrible
2.Driving range looks like it hasn't been mowed in weeks and every single flag was lying on the ground so no targets to aim for.
3.Cart paths are overgrown with tress and and bushes coming out of every direction guess they dont know how to trim so you have to be alert when driving on the paths or you might get a palmetto bush in your face
4. Havent had the blue tee markers on # 7 tee box in 2 weeks
5. All of the waste areas on the holes that have them are way overgrown, so you cant even see the landing areas
6.They just let groups out on the first tee without any sort of organization so its kinda do what ever you want once you check in at the pro shop
7. no starter to organize the times.
8. other than that go play!!

Great course , awesome layout I will say the greens are a bit hard and bumpy but they will be back. Expensive though. They need to come down on the price for locals. Locals can play other courses that are better or equal for a much better price. Nonetheless it's a fun course to play.
