Well worth playing

On a very hot day ion August 1 the Gary Player course was presented in excellent condition - given the time of the year and the weather. Greens were understandably a bit slow but fairways, tees and bunkers were excellent. If you get the chance - well worth the visit. You wont be disappointed playing here !!

Very Nice Course

Played PADRE. Very nice course - greens were firm and quick - quickest I have played in Scottsdale. QUite a few holes where water comes into play. Fairways patchy in places but overall very good. Tees - played off Black - very patchy. Excellent range and practice green(s). Friendly helpful staff.

You must play this GEM of a course

In the middle of nowhere is this absolute gem of a course. Nicklaus designed - tough but fair - especially from the black tees. In excellent condition considering there is no town for probably 30+ miles. ALL Staff were very friendly and informative. A must play for all keen golfers when visiting Vegas

Great layout - will test all the clubs in your bag

Played TPC Las Vegas on a very hot day. Layout is great - lots of really interesting shots that will test all the clubs in your bag.

Only two negatives. The greens had recently been cored and were bumpy and some of the fairways had been seriously over watered in many areas with the outcome being no run and "mud ball" shots.

challenging course

Played in May on a sunny day with slight breeze.
Challenging course with many elevation changes - quite severe at times. Nice greens although being Poa Annua they get a bit bumpy in the afternoons. Fiarways need some work - patchy lies and some different grasses growing on them make for some touch approach shots. Strong par 3's that play a club longer than you might think.

Well worth the money to play here

Holes are modeled on British Open course holes so the course has a real links feel to it but don't let this put you off if you don't like links style golf courses. To get the chance to play a replica of the Road Hole or the Postage Stamp or many of the other Great British Open courses more than makes up for any dislike of Links style courses.

Course condition was excellent - firm fast fairways, true greens that hold good shots and super friendly and attentive staff make for a great day.

good value for money

the course was in good condition - greens were receptive but reasonably paced - fairways well grassed and firm. Speed of play was a bot slow due to some foursomes that seemed to be playing very seriously.
