We played the course after two days of rain in SoCal. It was cart path only. The fairways are moist and soft. The only place still with water was in front of the first green. The 10th hole (par 5) was shortened due to work. The rest of the course was in good shape, as usual.

I played at Green River many many times before. This time the course condition was the worst. Many greens were almost unplayable. And there were several holes using temporary greens in front of the regular ones. The hot deals the course offered were not worthwhile. The course looked if it would be shut down soon.

Course layout is very nice and pretty. Greens are perfect, but the fairways are brown, dorment and sometimes bare. Pace was slow. If we did not tee off before noon, we might not finish before dark.

The course just opened after heavy seeding. The carts were not allowed on the fairways and the greens were extremely rough and slow.

Very unfortunate. We had a twosome, playing after a foursome. Bad part was those guys knew no golf etiquette, not letting us through. We waited every single hole and every single shot.

Poor maintenance, run down condition, grass in sand traps. Greens are okay.

The only shortcoming was the aerification process when we were playing. There were only 3 or 4 holes not in any order that were plugged and sanded. Putts on those green were unpredictable and strongly impacted negatively.

This is not a long and tough course, but a cute one. it was well maintained, except the sand traps. well watered, compared to other courses in the general area.

We had a twosome played on Monday, September 18. The course was in good shape and is scheduled for the green aerification until next week. We played fast, and two foursomes let us pass. We finished 18 holes in two hours and 20 minutes!

We had a foursome played on the course on Friday, September 15. The course just had aerification on the greens, leaving uneven surfaces and slow, unpredicted rolls. However, the fairways were quite green, compared to other courses in the area. The discounted rate from the website was a good bargain.

Some of the fairways are not well maintained. Since the earlier flood on the course, the 10th and 11th fairways were re-planted but never maintained, leaving most of the areas bare with dirt only. Some other holes had similar problems.

It had been raining in SoCal for the last week. Rain did not stop until the morning of the day I played. Surprisingly the course was dry enough to open. I started to play around noon and the course was in very good conditions. There were only a few wet spots in the fairways which were roped around. Most holes were allowed for cart to be on the fairway. Greens were in excellent shape. The best part was that there were almost no other group on the course, so I finished the round in less than three hours.

I played this course on sept 1. For some reason, the greens were slow and the ball would not roll much in the first few holes. The rolling distances were only half of normal. Playing uphill was not possible. I played this course many times before and never had such experience.

We played a threesome on Friday afternoon. Not crowded. Group in front let us pass through. Although the fairway had brown areas but the greens were in great shape,

El Pardo has two courses, Chino Creek and Butterfield. The former one is more challenging and better course. Both offer an average difficulty. The fairways have uneven and brown areas; the sand traps require a lot of work before getting a better review.

we played on Thursday, which should not be very busy, the pace was slow the value was good.

I was there by myself. there was a twosome in front of me that were slow, and did not let me play through. When I requested to play through, they refused and said the groups ahead of them were slow, which were not. I had to skip a hole and then continued in fast pace.

the only downside was the congested situation in the back nine.

We were lucky to get there 30 minutes before tee time (12:08 PM) and the staff was able to get us on immediately. Thee was a group of 20 + people trying to get on. if we were not there earlier, we would not have had a chance to finish before dark.
