I had an early tee time and they had 2 big outings later that day. There was a lot of confusion and disorganization with how they would get earlier tee times out & have the course clear for outings...even talking down to each other to guests (AWKWARD). The Course was in poor shape but locals I played with informed me that this was expected in the area. Wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone... and I shot +1... so it wasn’t that I had a “bad round.”

This round is a perfect example of WHY golf is declining... pace of play!! We started Out fine and then hit a log-jam on the turn. We thought it was because people stopping for food/bathroom, but it continued all the way to the end. Front 9 in just under 2 hours & back 9 in 3 hours. Please Marshal your course! I played a 5 hour round on the Jones course the day before!! Good luck in the future getting repeat business because it won’t be me!
Very Disappointed!

Although practice facilities were decent it was over-run with college girls practicing... hardly anywhere to practice chipping/pitching or putting. Then the course... no starter, I just drove up and found out I was paired with husband/wife & 12 year old daughter who’d just picked up the game 2 years ago. And they were THE nicest and brightest part of the day. There were 2 groups of THE SLOWEST elder ladies and the round took 5 HOURS!! No course ambassador/Marshal on the course and the greens were hard as rock with no check whatsoever. Needless to say I’ll not go back here EVER again. Very dissatisfied.

This was a treat! Although it was only par 66, it was a test of your game in every way! Good practice facilities and fast pace of play (2:50 to play and I let a twosome play through). I’ll go back next time I’m in the area!!!

Great course, pace of play was slow on back 9. Great greens & fairways (but they should be as it is a cart path only course). Also, keep in mind that there is NO short game practice EVERY Wednesday. Good putting green though.

I tagged along with my wife on a seminar she attended and has 2 days to play. I was more than pleasantly surprised to find this track listed on GolfNow. I got the "Hot Deal" and was amazed at the value... so... I went back the next day! Anyone who gets to play this course on a regular basis consider yourself BLESSED!! If your ever in this area it is a MUST PLAY! Well done Robert Trent Jones Jr.
Only negative comment would be that they put the cart only sign too far out from the green on a few holes (shouldn't have to walk over 80-100 yds to ball in fairway).

Love the layout, history & staff, HOWEVER, the Greens were HORRIBLE! Starter mentioned before we began that they were ripping the greens up next week & will be closed for 3 months. Wish I'd known that the greens were in such bad shape, we would've opted for another course.

Fantastic experience... I will play every time I'm in the area!

From check-in to completion - excellent & friendly service. I'm afraid to write too good of a review because I want to come back and NOT spend what it's worth ;)! Pro-V1 golf balls to warm-up with on the RANGE! GREAT EXPERIENCE, can't wait to go back!!
