Incredible Value

You won’t find better greens for a course under $35.

Fun layout, and in extremely good shape for the fee charged. Great VALUE

Hidden Gem

I played here on a Sunday Morning.

It was $24 for 18 with a cart. After playing, I cannot think of a course that has better value.

To begin, the greens were some of the best I’ve played this season, and I play a good amount in Metro Detroit/Up North.

The layout is extremely fun and enjoyable. It’s generally pretty open, but some holes do have water that comes into play.

Overall a great course & great value.

An Honest and Fair Review

I have to say, this course gets way more hate than it deserves.

The Good:

- What a spectacular layout. A few challenging holes, and a few easy holes make the course tough but fair
-Conditions: for a $30 course, you won’t find a course in better shape. The greens were soft, and receptive to well struck shots. The were on a slower side, but we’ve had rain, and with the hilly greens, the course would get nasty if they made it super quick. Fairways were great, mowed, and rewarding to hit. The rough was short and not very punishing, which is standard for public courses.

Bad:

The bridges are alright. They are bumpy, and you have to go a bit slower on them, but it’s far from a deal breaker that some make it out to be. They could use some love.

Teeboxes: this is not a big deal, as it was isolated to a few holes, one being a 120 par 3 that gets a lot of wedge abuse. Maybe one or two others were beat up poorly, but the vast majority were good. They also are very uneven, but you can usually find a flat spot to tee up in.

All in all, a good day. For $30, you won’t play a better course.

Great Layout, Poor Maintnence

My dad hasn't played here in 20 years, and near cried on the first tee at how deteriorated the course is. Working on a grounds crew myself, i could not have been more disappointed myself. The course could be beautiful, but mismanagement has ran it into the ground. Super sad.
