I love this course as much now as I did last year.

I played this course 2-3 last year during my first visit to Maui and wanted to play it again to see if I'd feel the same way about it. After playing the Wailea Old Blue course, I realize what a great deal this course is. Such friendly staff that seem truly happy to be there, fantastic views from the mountain and a good challenging course that changes greatly with the trade winds coming through. The greens seemed much slower than I remember them to be and quite a bit slower than Wailea Old Blue. Overall, another great experience and a course I would recommend to any visitor on this island.

Good course but not sure if its worth the full fee

I normally wouldn't pay over $130 a round but had a GolfNow Reward for a free Hot Deal round. We teed off 15 min. after the booked time because there was a tournament on course that hadn't finished its course. Because it was a tee time at almost 1pm during winter daylight hours I was a little concerned that we'd finish. Fortunately, we did finish with 20 min to spare. The course and greens were in very good condition. The greens were fast and rolling pretty true. Pro shop staff and course staff were courteous. The clubhouse was really showing its age. Overall, it was a good experience, but not sure if I would play it again.

A decent challenge for your iron game

This is our third round at LGC - all visits have been on "Hot Deals" through GolfNow so for that it's a great deal. I don't think I would play this course at their regular rates. We played it today in Winter conditions - surprisingly only one temp green with all the tee boxes open though it was hard to put your tee in the frozen ground. The greens were frozen and riddles with ball marks which cannot be fixed. Note that the yardages are from the posted signs +/- 2 yards. The holes range from about 100 yards to 205 yards from the blue tees. If you play during the winter, it's safer to land the ball before the green as if you land on, it'll bounce unpredictably. A good place to practice iron play for a decent price.

If you need work on your wedges, this might fit the bill.

This 9 hole, Par 3 course is part of the Birdies & Buckets Driving Range/Practice Facility. Because the holes are between 50 and 82 yards long, it makes for good practice with your wedges or a fun track to bring young children (my kids love it). We got a really good deal at $5/player. As with many Par 3s, they need to work on the area in front and on the greens.

Good twilight rate with cart

Fairways and greens were in good condition, but rough was very wet. We played in late May and they were still enforcing cart on path only which really slowed down play. Front nine plays like a typical resort-type course while the back offers a challenging nine holes with a lot of elevation changes and tighter fairways.

You can get some great deals through GolfNow on this course. Great drainage

North Bellingham is a challenging track that is ideal for Winter golf as it drains exceptionally well. The first hole is a teaser as it's pretty straight forward, but then the fun begins. Most greens are well protected by bunkers and each hole offers up a variety of water and fairway bunkers to keep things interesting. We played (gasp) during the final round of the Masters so we got a great deal on green fees.

Definitely worth playing 2-3 rounds here.

If you're a Canadian, you know what a treat winter golf is. This is my first trip to Maui and I was eager to strip off the extra layers of clothing and hit the links.

I know that golfing in Maui can be expensive and though I LOVE golf, I didn't want to sell my firstborn to golf here. I'm thankful for GolfNow.com because I was able to golf this course for under half of the regular green fees.

Don't let the low green fees fool you, it's a GREAT course. The course is fantastic as are the staff members. I was fortunate to play this course twice with very little wind. Apparently, Kahili is know for strong trade winds.

Best tip for Kahili? What one of the GolfNow reviewer's said - the rule of thumb is that the putts break towards the valley/water. I can't tell you how many times I stood over a putt and trusted my eye and was dead wrong.

If you're in Maui, do yourself a favour and golf Kahili.
