Played On 08/19/2022Great little course
This is a great little course. It has only 9 greens but the sue if separated tee's enable you to play 18 unique (ish) holes.
The only hole that isn't significantly changed is the par 3 2nd/11th. However this hole is one of several standout holes on the course that make it great.
They have made great use of the land and its contours to provide som challenging holes and some teasing potentially drivable par 4s.
The course also have some lovely views as it plays alongside the river Fowey.
They have taken care of nature here too with some proteted habitats turned into features that come with free drops that can sometimes help you out of trouble.
At just £20 for 18 holes its a bargain!
I would definitely play again and recommend it too all standards.
(It only lost a star for the lack of club house which is awaiting planning permission).

Very Busy since re-opening and if not a member you need to book a tee time online no more turn up and play.
Grass and greens were tidy but the bunkers were still poor and as stoney as they have all ways been

Not an especially long course but shot placement is critical with tight doglegs on most holes. Its also only a 9 green course but has 2 or 3 sets of tees on every hole so makes you come at the fairways and greens from different lines. Good condition too as its currently February and there are no temporary greens or tee mats either!
Unfortunately there is no clubhouse only a snack shack which is where you book in. But well worth a visit.

Firstly I can't comment on the food or drinks as I was short on time.
As for the course I has numerous observations.
1) It's tough. If you don't like blind shots or hills then its best avoided. I lost count of the number of blind shots required from both Tee and fairway!
2) If you cant drive/hit straight then bring lots of balls or send a friend ahead to spot for all the blind shots.
3) If its windy double up on point 2. Stray shots are often difficult to find in the Heather/Brambles and long grass.
4) The greens were good. Undulating and tricky pace but receptive.
5) It has great views of the town, cliffs, sea and beach.
6) There is only one water hazard! But a few reveted bunkers to collect your ball.
Would I recommend it? Yes, but only if you are playing with a group or are of a fair standard... Not for a novice.

Played On 08/04/2020Lush and well kept.
Lovely lush parkland course showing no signs of summer scorching even though its August! Only downside to this is the greens were a little slow. Relatively flat with just a few rises and drops to contend with and no cross fairway slopes!
A couple of tight drives and few doglegs required caution off the tee but for me the toughest tee shot was the par 3 9th. Although only 160yards the trees on the left require a laser straight drive or a draw to find the green and my natural fade was brutally punished with a lost ball.
But its a course I would recommend so long as you avoid the seniors competition days or you may be in for a long round.

Not as challenging or as pretty as its sister course but great in its own right. Good variety of holes several of which require blind shots so a gps or course guide is essential.

Stunning, challenging and diverse. A fantastic course making full use of the stunning countryside in which its set especially on the front 9.
Be sure to take your camera and plenty of balls too.

Lovely little course with tee's greens and fairways in great condition. Unfortunately the same cant be said for the bunkers which range from average to terrible.

Played here today in 25C sunshine as it has been all week yet the tee boxes were richly green and soft as gym mats. Greens were a bit firmer but in good condition for the weather. A couple of greens needed cutting though and this made judging pace a little tricky. Very nice inland links course well worth the visit especially for the Par 3 8th Island green which made me feel like I was at TPC Sawgrass Island green!
