Quarry Pines Golf Club
Played On 04/23/2015A tale of two nines
In Arizona there are desert courses. Then there are courses without a lot of desert - then there is Quarry Pines. The front nine is like a lot of Arizona courses that weave their way in and around homes, but the second nine is unique - no homes. Not exactly desert, but down into an old sand and gravel quarry. You do not need out of bounds markers. You just know your ball is unretrievable - at least at this time of year. I might during the winter months venture down into scrub and come back up with as many balls as I could carry. Very interesting, challenging for a first time player. More elevation changes than most course. I would play it again now that I know the layout.

Every October I come to Vermont to hunt and play golf. West Bolton is always on my list to play.
