I have played this course many times and often hear other players complain about the difficult layout. Yes, there is plenty of desert areas that comes into play, areas around the greens can be wickedly tight, and bunkers can be a bit heavy. But, if you take your course management seriously, you can navigate your way around the course, have fun, and still score well. Don't be tempted to go for the "hero shot" that's often offered, decide what shot will work for you.

Typical summer conditions, a bit rough. Numerous greens had large patches ripped up, from Raccoons we were later told by a Marshal who apologized for the poor conditions. We were not, though, offered any price reduction or replay at a future date which would have been fair and reasonable

Love the course, but did not play today due to sudden weather change and the gale force winds that sometime happen here. check weather before you make a Hot Deal.

what's worse, I was not informed of this beforehand. overall, a little better than the range, but that's it.
