It’s no question scores of pros come here to practice for the British Open. This is links golf. Being from the States, this style of golf in a-whole-different animal. Play the ball off the ground, not in the air. It’s a cool experience. If the wind is howling, you won’t score well. But it’s such a nice layout with the bunkering and fairway ungulations. Top 100 course worth checking off the list.

lives up to the hype. Beautiful views, great layout, and top notch conditions. Gotta hit the right spots to score. I hit a number of greens that just couldn't hold. would love to go back.

I've played a number of courses in Ireland. This is the closest thing to Irish links golf that you will play here in the states.

I've traveled all over the world visiting and playing courses, including 3 continents. This is the best course I've ever played. first class in literally every category. aesthetic, views of the bay, conditions, layout, topography, staff, you name it; Lochenheath is a 10/10. Yes, the Bear is across the street. If you're in the area, make this one a priority.

I'm surprised this track doesn't get more attention. Beautiful Arthur Hills design that sits in the shadows of the likes of Bay Harbor and HawksHead. This course should be a top 10 play in the state. Very strategic layout with great elevation changes. Also the most scenic course in the resort.

plain and simple, this is a top 5 course in Michigan. great views, interesting layout, and top notch conditions. played the tips which made it a tad long for my taste. When i come back, the blues will be a great test.

some decent elevation changes make this course a fun challenge. conditions will likely be better in the middle of the summer, so I can't knock em for it. there's a few memorable holes but a lot of forgettable ones. If I'm in the area, I'll for sure play here again. but I won't drive out of my way.

Didn't expect much. but was extremely impressed with the routing and layout. very little elevation change, but the layout still posed a fun challenge. Happy I played here!

boring layout, but conditions were solid. the greens were like glass and pin placements were borderline unfair, but we managed! didn't score well, but still enjoyed my round. I'd play here again but wouldn't go out of my way.

Great layout. great people. just needs some time for the course to settle in and get up to quality condition-wise. Once they have some time to work on the greens and the fairways....course will be 5 star.

the grass is something I've never played on before, so I can't say anything negative. just not what I'm used to. conditions are ehhhhh. layout is so much fun. very tight, lots of interesting holes with elevation changes. if they took care of this course, and featured Bermuda or bent-grass, this would be a must play top 2 course in Singapore.

While Tanjong is in the shadow of it's longer, more famous older brother, this course is worth playing. conditions rival that of the Serepong, and the layout is extremely fun. a little more open than the other course, but tough pin placements and black ice greens make this course a fun challenge. for sure a course worthy of your time, if you can't get a tee time on the championship course.

I didn't play golf. I walked on a glorious plot of land jutting into the sea, wielding a few sticks and advancing a small white ball forward. I'd call it a lot of things, but golf is not one of them.

it was my first time playing a links course, and my God it was torturous. The views and experience of Old Head made my 98 feel like a 75. I was smiling for all 18 holes.

if you have the chance to play here...do it. You won't play golf in the way you're use to, but you'll enjoy every second of it.

Love this track. Links style course that won’t eat you up if you’re wobbly off the tee. Would love a little more elevation change, but the design really plays into the links vibe. Excited to be a member of the club! Place has 1st class pro, staff, and members.

P.S. hole 18 may or may not be my favorite finishing hole in Michigan.

Playing the tips made the course extremely challenging. Didn't find the layout to be anything memorable, but I will say the course was in great condition. greens are true, fairways are plush. no complaints there.

After one round, this course jumped to my top spot of favorites. The layout is unforgettable, best course in northwest Michigan.

Hole by hole, this course is long. Par 3's scaling over 200 yds, blind shots on long par 4's. playing from the tips becomes a really fun challenge. Love this layout, great views of the city.
