Springfield Golf Resort
Played On 10/29/2021Great Short Course
Springfield Golf course is an excellent course for iron improvement. The course is just now getting in good shape for fall. The greens are filling in nicely but need a little more time for that perfect roll. It is a moderate course but does have some challenging holes. The staff is always super friendly and helpful and is one reason I keep coming back. I live here too and that helps. There are many older golfers that come here which can impact the pace of play at times but the course is so much fun it usually doesn't matter that much. Bring your game face and enjoy.
Springfield Golf Resort
Played On 10/18/2020Very Comfortable Round of Golf
I played on a Sunday with my wife, son, and 13 yr old grandson. This was our 1st time playing this course. We did wait just a few minutes at each tee box but got to enjoy some conversation with family which was nice. The course was just beginning to come out of overseeding but was in good shape. The quesadila at the 61 Grill was amazing! Staff was very courteous and attentive. Driving range was in very good shape as well. We will definitely be back.
Las Sendas Golf Club
Played On 08/09/2014Going Private
Las Sendas is a nice course with very good fairways and greens. I am going to make my review short because I just found out this course is going completely private. It is located in an upscale area and they feel they can support a private facility. That may be why all 3 times I have been there the staff is snobby and pretty much unavailable. They don't even tell you where to get your cart. No beverage cart either. I felt like they considered anyone taking advantage of a discounted greens fee was second class. I won't be going back. I wish all of the snobs who live around there the best on their new adventure.
Mountain Shadows Golf Course
Played On 08/08/2014Very Nice Short Course
Mountain Shadows is an excellent short course with beautiful views. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition. First time my wife has played in a while and she loved it. You can put your driver away and get lots of practice with your irons. Much better than standing in one place at a driving range. There are no food or beverage carts so keep that in mind. They have a nice grill and you can purchase drinks and snacks at the pro shop. I will definitely go back. Very relaxing.
Palmer Course at Wildfire Golf Club at Desert Ridge
Played On 07/18/2014Recently Aerated
First time playing this course. It had recently been aerated so review would have probably been much better if not for that. Fairways were good but greens were difficult due to lumps from aeration. Wide fairways and nice large greens. Staff was excellent. Friendly and very attentive. It was 105 degrees but nice breeze and low humidity made it very pleasant. Yes it IS a dry heat! I would give the course a few more weeks to get up to better playing experience. All in all a very pleasant experience. Will definitely go back. For now you may want to play the Faldo course. Didn't eat other than food cart. Very nice Marriot.
