Frog Hollow Golf Club

The Starter was crustier than a crab; but after the 1st hole, we were done with him. The Native Grass areas should be marked and a clear and fair local rule should be applied. With so much Native Grass area, the drop from there should free, not penalized. Four Season Golf Course in Pa had that rule for their native grass areas. Greens were phenomenal and the fairways great.

How could anyone in their good conscience charge $70 for a round on this course? It was worth $30 at the most. Group of us drove almost 2 hours to play this course. I understand the fire almost 5 years ago, but that monstrosity of clubhouse being built will be underutilized and is too close to 2 holes- the 13th and the 18th. Missing a fairway on 13 left will result in a death if someone is eating lunch on the patio: the rough is only about 10 yds wide and runs right up to the patio. Missing the green left on 18 by 10 yards will result in a broken windshield. The driving range is all the way across the course and the putting green is in the middle of the course. The end result was carts darting back and forth in front of us all day. The tee boxes were chewed up, fairways had bare spots and sand all over the place. The greens were fast and true- too many bare spots. Some had long gouges like the mower bottomed out- all left un-repaired. There were a-lot of grounds crew out and about- they seemed more intent on turning the sprinklers on right before we played the hole than actively repairing damage on the course: we had one 5 minute rain delay because of sprinklers. Teed off at 10:50 and finished at 4:15= 5.5 hour round. Started on Hole 11, Little to No signage directing people where to go on the course. Staff in the clubhouse wasn't very friendly, almost rude and indifferent. They charged $13.50 for a Ham, Egg and Cheese sandwich on wheat toast with tater tots= It sucked. Why anyone would pay over $2K a year to belong here is beyond me. Stay away.

Wind if 20, gust of 30mph....course in good shape, would have been nice to be notified that the greens were aerated BEFORE booking the round. However, at $48 it was still a steal and well worth it.

After all the rain here, the staff should be commended for their hard work. Fairways and greens were awesome. This was a steal at the golfNow price. Great day! Thanks!

This course is a steal at $49 on Sunday morning at 9am. The course layout along the Conestoga River provides some beautiful scenery as well as some demanding holes. Playing for the first time, I wasn't sure of some of the yardages so I hit irons off 8 of 14 tees. Next time that will be cit down to about 4. The fairways are great and Greens are top notch. Fast but true, they haven't suffered the type of wear and tear this late in the season usually brings. The rough was thick but manageable. The 18th hole is a monster requiring some distance off the tee, accuracy for the 2nd and some great putting on the green. I would recommend this to everyone and will be back to play it again. Great job by the staff with all the rain this area has had in the last month (about 11" of rain). No fairways along the river were washed out or damaged. Go play this course.

Not having played this course since 1996, I was extremely pleased to find the conditions at what used to be an average course. First off, the weekend deal is outstanding: Breakfast, Lunch, Golf with cart for $39??? Unfortunately they ran out of breakfast food so I was only charged $33 for the round. Tees and fairways were great, Greens were shaggy but with all the rain (3" in the first 5 days of the month) it was understandable. They were true and played a lot of break. The layout is still tight, pace of play was a bit maddening. My only criticism ( and I am a regular blue collar guy) was the allowing of 4 drunk country boys with only 2 sets of clubs, to play a round of golf. Glad they got booted after 9 holes- good job by the staff to act on the complaint. Food was great- like a diner on a gold course. Glad to see beer served there- nice to finish off a round with cold one. Will be back here.

$17.95 plus 3.95 fee to play a great course. Still had wind damage all around course with a few blown over trees but that is understandable after the 3rd Nor'easter in 3 weeks. Signed in and Starter was immediately asking me if everyone was there- we could get out earlier than the scheduled time- awesome service! Snack bar attendant was great- very accommodating as was the whole staff. Nice to see!
Great time, good round.
Little Bennett Golf Course

Played here as part of a golf group outing on Sunday- Shotgun start. Course was in EXCELLENT shape- Greens about 11 on the STIMP meter but rolled true, fairways well groomed, Tee boxes almost perfect. As a County Govt owned course, this blows away a lot of Private courses and Country Clubs I have played. Design and Layout are very imaginative- lots of blind shots. Play course management- a yardage book would have helped. Overall, an excellent course open to the public. Play it now!
