Creek at Indian Creek Golf Course
Played On 09/11/2016Welcome back Creeks!
You'd never know by looking at it but this course was closed for over a year due to floods. The fairways, greens, and traps are all in excellent shape. There's some fun holes on this course with the last three holes being very challenging. A very good bang for the buck course. The cart girls are friendly and came by 2-3 times each 9..
Improvement areas:
With no GPS, there are no hole maps on the tee box or scorecard. So bring a good golf app if you're not familiar wit the course.
The food service was slow at the turn. We were told sandwiches were the fastest items so each of us ordered one. After waiting 15-20 minutes all we got was bread and meat. No lettuce, condiments, or anything else on there. The clubhouse area and staff is nice but the food service is slow and the food itself underwhelming.
Twin Lakes Golf Course
Played On 09/03/2016East Texas golf at its finerst
There's something different about playing golf in East Texas - peaceful, pine trees, relaxed atmosphere. And it doesn't get any better than what Twin Lakes has to offer with a relaxed resort like atmosphere. Beautiful views of the lakes, country side, and tree nursery. The course itself is fun ... a good mixture of challenging water holes, long par fives, soft greens, and East Texas beauty. Can't wait to see this course in the spring when the flowers are blooming.
Grapevine Golf Course - Pecan/Mockingbird
Played On 12/13/201527 Holes - A Fair Test of Golf
Grapevine is a fair test. Played under wet conditions and found the course and especially the greens to be in very good shape. I ended up hitting every club in my bag so there are a variety of shots that you need to be able to hit. It's fun to play with nice scenery. Once they get their carts with GPS I can't think of a better place for the price.
