Couldn’t have had a better experience with those we came in contact with who worked for the club. The starter, Bob was helpful and encouraging. We met one ranger, Rick I believe and he was most helpful. The course was a little damp and CPO which we understood. The greens were a little “hairy” recovering from aeration in the last couple of weeks. Looking forward to getting back soon now that we know a great deal more about course management here!

Fathers Day round with two of my boys and my bride. Once we moved around a VERY slow foursome we made it around in less than 4 hours. Course was in great shape but greens were a little slow for our liking. This is one of our go-to courses (I played the very first day it opened in 1994!

Woodland Hills rarely disappoints. Greens were in less than good shape. Probably didn’t mow because of the earlier rain. We let a threesome play through and that made them slow down to a ridiculously slow pace. We skipped hole #7 to go around them.
Otherwise, a good day to be outdoors.

I played with my wife, and we almost had the course to ourselves. We let a couple of singles play through, but other than that, we moved along at our own pace (under 4 hours). VERY disappointed with the overall condition of the course - the greens were in good condition except for the unrepaired hallmarks - come on, people, this isn't hard! The bunkers, and there are many, were in horrible condition, not much sand, and hadn't been raked mechanically in a LONG time - we pulled balls out and played from the rough instead. Otherwise, I love the layout. We ended the round with two birdies, so we have reason to come back. By the way, my wife beat me by eight shots! Nothing new!

I should have checked more closely when I made the reservation- this is a fun and challenging course that is an hour and a half from home. Got to the course and found they were on temporary greens on all 18 holes. We were told it would be August before the new Tif-Eagle greens would be ready. Virtually had the course to ourselves in a Sunday morning - the experience, while disappointing was worth our time and the investment. See you again in the fall Cider Ridge- one of our favorite “mountain style” courses NOT in the mountains!

This course has been around under at least three different names. The new owners really know what they are doing agronomically - the course is in excellent condition and is a classic Desmond Muirhead track. We've played at another of his courses in Cherokee County (Bridgemill) and know that he was a part of the original Nicklaus design team for Muirfield Village. A couple of the par 3s definitely had a Muirhead "stamp" on them. The pace of play was perfect - played in just under 4 hours for the 3 of us. We will return often. Outstanding value for the "Hot Deal" price we paid!

We love playing Arrowhead Pointe when we visit family in that area. Course is almost always in good shape. Staff is friendly.
They need to have marshalls out on holidays and weekends.

Wife and I found this challenging and enjoyable course literally in “the middle of nowhere” (Cadiz, Ky) on our way to Ames, Iowa. One of the courses in the Kentucky state park system. Course was in immaculate shape- greens were firm, fast and true (but I didn’t figure them out!) Glad to see they were in the midst of reclaiming natural wet area on the back nine! Pace of play was less than 4 hours - only had to wait once or twice. If you are traveling west (it’s always seemed north to me) on I-24 through Kentucky it is well worth your time to experience this amazing course. And yes, we played Boots Randolph’s “Yakety Sax” on our Bluetooth while we played hole #9!!

Even though it was a two hour drive from home (Dallas, GA) Jennings Mill was more than worth the trip. Excellent Bob Cupp design in immaculate condition. Took us less time to play (under 4 hours) than it took us to travel round trip! We were early and the staff got us right on and in front of a member group!! Highly recommended. We’ll be back.

Creekside (played it in high school as 9 holer Nebo Country Club) is an interesting track - playing hard and fast right now. Greens are in great shape and putt true. There are only a few holes from the White TEEs where driver is a good option - fairways run out or get really tight. Local knowledge is a must on several holes, but it will be fun learning on your first visit. Eldon in the golf shop is as good as they come! Guests are treated like members! Give this one a try - well worth the $ especially playing in the late afternoon/evening as we did.

Played here YEARS ago (lost my prized 1957 Macgregor Tourney Colokrom sand wedge during that round - late 80s) This time only lost a couple of balls! Played with wife and two sons. Enjoyable Willard Byrd track (lots of doglegs) course was in reasonable shape with some bare TEES and bare spots on greens that were very slow. An exceptional value for the HOT DEAL we used. We will return often!

Enjoyed playing the course today. It's in great condition; however, it was CPO due to some rain that went through right before our tee time. The course handled the water pretty well.
Play slowed about halfway through the front 9 and went at a snail's pace the rest of the round. No ranger today. Ended up being a 4 1/2 hour round.

Weather was great. Surprisingly, even though we did have to wait (threesome following a foursome), pace of play was good...esp for a holiday. Played in just under 4 hours. Will be back soon!
