Legends Golf Resort - Moorland Course
Played On 06/22/2017A fun course
I love this course. It has forgiving fairways to set up for your approach shots. These greens are some of the most challenging you will play. The majority of the greens have severe slopes and almost seem unfair. I really like them. The pin setter can make the course play 3-5 shots harder depending on where he puts them. Legends is known for long rounds, but if you play in late June and July you will avoid these.
Pawleys Plantation Golf & Country Club
Played On 06/13/2017Most underrated course on the grand strand
Pawleys is such a beautiful challenging course. It's always in great shape. The greens are quick and true so you can make putts. The course is somewhat tight and the wind always blows out there. I feel it's the toughest test of golf on the grand strand. 13, 14, 16, 17, and 18 will test all of your shot hitting capabilities.
Prestwick Country Club
Played On 06/08/2017A true test
Prestwick is a Dye special. There is plenty of trouble around the greens. The course offers many different sets of tee's. Prestwick is a challenging course, but when it dry's out it can be one of the toughest courses in the area. A top 5 pick on the grand strand.
Tobacco Road Golf Club
Played On 06/06/2017There are greens simiar to the putting green!!
What a course. We got lucky to play with a guy who works there. He guided us through the course. Most people say this course is very hard and it can be. I think it is fair and forgiving if you have decent distance control coming into the greens. Green speeds were great too. It is a must play Course conditions were perfect
The Country Club of South Carolina
Played On 05/25/2017Tale of 2 9's
CCSC is one of my favorite layouts. The greens are usually very slippery and true. The front nine have some solid holes. Nothing that really blows you away, but is nice. Holes 11-18 are beautiful and very tough. The course is always in great shape too.
True Blue Golf Club
Played On 03/15/2017A different type of Strantz
True Blue is a fun course to play. Pretty easy compared to his other courses. Fairways and greens are extremely forgiving. Course was in great shape.
