The links at Challedon hosted our annual Jonathan B. Loden Golf Outing this year. This was the 16th year for this event and everything was perfect — great weather, 120 players, banquet food excellent and Challedon staff very helpful. Most important, the golf course in such nice condition. Prior to moving to NC, Challedon was my home course. Other than a few minor tee box problem, the fairways and greens are excellent — best I’ve seen in the 10 years playing this course.
So thankful for the Challedon team for making this event such a success. We’ll be back next year — we’ll be meeting with John soon to reserve the JBL date for 2024.

After moving to NC over a year ago, it was a pleasure to play Challedon again. It’s obvious the management wants it’s golfer to have a nice experience. The price is affordable, the staff very friendly but most important, the course is in excellent condition. Very impressed with the condition of the tee boxes and greens (extremely fast today but fair after the getting used too after the first couple of hole). If your looking for an enjoyable round, add Challedon to your list of courses to play.
As a addd plus, stop by the grill for a nice lunch and cold drink after your round.

I need to give Eric Mson and Brooks Ward a "thumbs-up" for a very positiver customer experience. Eric came out of his office to help my partner and I with our Troon points (never an easy task without a prior written approoval). And Brooks for rearranging the tee sheet to allow my partner and I to play as a towsome (my partner recovering from an operation monts ago -- his first time out since the procedure).
Even though a windy day and cart path only -- the course is in great shape in such a nice community. When in area, add Bear Trap to your list of courses to play.
Also, compliments to the Starter (very polite) and for the nice lady working the Snack Bar.

Played Challedon many times -- for a tee time in late July, the course is in better shape than most in the area. Pace was in 4 hours, staff always friendly, carts very nice and the beer always cold after the round (try the French Dip is hungry -- its the best). I've played all the courses in the area, Chally should be on everyone's list.

I've been playing Challedon for over 10 years -- I"ve never seen the course in better shape. The management team has worked very hard over the lst few years to bring the club back to life. The Links at Challedon offer a challenging course (for amateur golfers), a variety of holes, new golf carts, a friendly staff, clean facilities and a nice grill with good food and drink after your round. If you haven't played, give Challedon a chance, you'll like it.

I've been playing Challedonnor for years -- what the ownership has done over the last couple of yeare is very impressive. The course conditions improve every week, the management and staff are super friendly, the prices (for golf and food) are afforable and it's a nice place to share a meal (or a few cold ones) with friends and family. The GM' and his staff work hard every day to make it easy to book your next tee time. Give it a try -- you won't regret it.
